"[removed member name], I apologize you feel this way. We completed the job we were hired for and you expressed your appreciation of a job well done. Your window request came after the completion of the initial job. We tried to reach you on several occasions with no luck. I understand you are living out of the country, which has made it even more difficult to reach you. We are happy to return and install windows for you. Please feel free to contact the office at your earliest convenience to rectify this mis-communication. Best, Tom"

"[Member Name Removed], Thank you so much. I am glad everything was to your satisfaction."
"Good Morning: I just want to introduce myself. I am the regional sales manager. I noticed that you just recently reviewed us for work that was done in 2012. Can I ask what the issues were. I would love to be able to address them and see if I can help resolve them. Thank you for your time and I look forward hearing back from you."
"[member name removed], We are sorry you feel this way we tried everything to accommodate your needs and to get out to your house in the blizzard as one of the first few jobs we did, We understand that the ball drop with communication after the job was complete when you wanted us to pick up payment so we tried to give you a discount to make up for that. You have to understand that this season snow fall was unprecedented and everyone in the industry was running in 50 million directions. We apologize for the inconvenience and hoped the discount was sufficient. Thank you Nikki & Tom"
On the day the job was scheduled to start there were threats of heavy rain. Despite this, the team was on site early in case there was an opportunity to start. However, the heavy rains pushed the work back to the next day. They began work at 7am and worked for the next 15 hours to take advantage of the clear weather! The house was nearly finished in one day, with the remainder and the garage on second day, all in time for the next big rain storm. We are very pleased with the work, and with the follow-up; both Tom and the foreman Ralph have been in touch since finishing to make sure we were satisfied with the work. I would definitely recommend them, and plan to use them when we replace our windows in the next year or two.
When the install date came, my wife said a team decended on the house and got right to work just before 8:00AM. There were some questions that the supervisor Dave wanted to ask me about. I had good amount of decking that needed replacement but the price was reasonable. I mentioned some additional items I'd like to have them look at and he gave me very solid advice and ways I could save money on additional improvements. The roofing job was completed within the same day and I was very impressed by the cleanup the crew did. There wasn't a nail or anything left behind. The quality of the job is excellent and what looks like to be a lifetime roof. There were a couple of areas of concern; however, Dave was very reassuring and wanted to make sure I was delighted with the job.
So far, I am delighted and this is probably the best experience I've had with any contractor, ever. They were timely, professional, very frienldy and truly care about their customers and quality of work. I will gladly use them again for future projects and will highly recommend them to friends.
the men who did the work worked very hard and were very professional - an excellent experience all around.
the best part.. the siding survived this past winter! now that's something!
However.....that all changed once Tom seemed to be more distant from the day to day activities and another person named Michael Doolin who is either now a new partner or running operations. Michael has caused us tremendous amount of trouble and grief. We started noticing a leak in the roof one one side of the house near the back as there were water stains on the ceiling of the 2nd floor and contacted Superior Exteriors in which Michael was the one responding. We contacted him and Tom multiple times via email October, November, December 2012 in which Michael said repeatedly he could come out to take a look at what was going on but never did. Everytime it rained things got worse and so in late December, about 4 ft x 4 ft of ceiling from the 2nd floor fell and water leaked into the ceiling of the 1st floor which has gotten saggy, yellow/brown and needs to be replaced. We got quotes from contractors who stated the damage will be roughly $2,000 to take down a big piece of the ceiling on the 2nd and 1st floor, add new insulation as the insulation has become soaked and may grow mold from all the other junk that got mixed in, put up new sheet rock, mud and tape, prime and paint the ceiling. If Superior Exteriors had just been straight forward with us from the beginning they were NOT going to help us then at least we could have moved on to find another roofing company to help us. We thought they were great at first but now, VERY TERRIBLE. Once the job is done, they don't give a SH*T about you.
We are now speaking with a few different attorneys to help with our situation as we are planning to file a complaint for negligence and breach of contract as they clearly told us they could help us and we have email trails of them (Michael mainly) stating they would come out to our house but kept delaying and we to keep emailing and calling to reschedule for over 3 months!!! How ridiculous is that? The last email sent was on December 28, 2013 and yet NOT reply at all! What kind of company hides from their customers? My in-laws are purchasing a new home and may need a new roof but we sure as heck are going to make sure they stay away from Superior Exteriors. We see Michael Doolin online in his gmail account since we also have gmail and he is clearly available yet he ignores our emails all together. Hopefully we will have a good case to win against them once we file the complaint to cover not only the damages to our ceilings (would have never happened if they took care of the leak or told us early on they wouldn't help us, so that we could have gotten it fixed right away), attorney fees and roof. One attorney mentioned me may be able to seek treble (lawyer language for triple damages). We will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau, although we've been told that the BBB only serves more as a messenger to try and help resolve the issue and many people don't often check BBB when evaluating a company.
So, with this said, hopefully other people do not get fooled into using Superior Exterior simply because they have an A rating on Angie's list, if you ever come across problems...good luck because you're on your own! It's unfortunate we had to write our first negative review on angie's list and was hesitant to do so but we were so frustrated with this company and realized that other people may also end up getting screwed and treated like crap after paying them thousands of dollars.
