Dennis S Devita - Country Way Appraisal

I found Country Way Appraisals through a friend who recommended I use them to appraise my mother in-laws house in Stoughton. She had passed away and we were looking to valuate the property so we could sell the house at a fair price. I called to make an appointment and Dennis, sensing time was of the essence, came the next day to inspect the property. He was thorough, professional and listened intently as I told him all the work we had put into the property. He completed the appraisal report in a timely manner (I had the report within 2 days!) which tells me his work is a high priority. Needless to say I was very pleased with the report and he answered any questions I had with a friendly, understanding and professional attitude. With what we learned from his appraisal report, we were able to sell the house ourselves without being coerced by low-balling buyers brokers. I would highly recommend anyone looking for appraisal services to use Country Way Appraisals. You wont be dissapointed.

Hired for refi appraisal.
Country Way Appraisal  says my home is  a two bedroom when it is a three bedroom.
The five comps he used  were two bedroom homes
Legal property descriptions ( Master Deed and "as built plan")  both on file with Plymouth County Massachusetts Registry Of Deeds show home to be a three bedroom.
Septic permit  on file with Town Of Pembroke Mass show home to be 6 room--a six room home is  three bedrooms.
Yes the home has three bed rooms each  with a  built in closet, entry door, heat, ac,. proper egress window  and all other requirements for a  legal bedroom.
The appraiser/owner Dennis Devita   can't even get the number of rooms correct.
This guy is totally useless as is his "appraisal"
