I was blown away by the work done on our yard. It’s hard to spend this much money on yard work but when you feel the work has surpassed your expectations it makes it much easier to shell out the cash! The guys clearly went above and beyond in not only clearing weeds and trimming shrubs from the exact area we contracted for, but also cleaned up surrounding areas and cut the grass!! We’ve used them several times and have always been very pleased.

They said they dethatched the yard, but it clearly wasn't done at all and they still charged us for it. They don't move anything small in the yard and just mow over it. There are shards of plastic all over my yard now from them mowing over a toy that was left out. Also, when they move lawn furniture they don't put it back where it belongs, leaving it just randomly around the yard. Finally, every time they've moves our lawn they've used the lowest blade setting and have scalped our yard. There are now bald patches all over our yard where there used to be grass.

The loam is having lot gravel. He seeded manually and did not rake properly. Watered as he advised but there is very very small areas grass sprouting. Totally waste of money.

We had let the front garden go for past several years. It was overgrown with weeds and rogue trees about 6 feet tall. They did a beautiful job. It looks completely different. We were very clear about what they were going to do and feel very happy with the results.

One less thing to worry about During 20 years of owning my house I?ve used about 10 different landscapers/lawn maintenance companies. None of them was really bad, but they all lacked something different, and none of them ever felt like a true partner. I suppose just like homeowners have hundreds of companies they could hire, some companies may not try too hard to please customers since there are thousands of other potential customers out there. But now, just like I have my favorite car mechanic and my favorite plumber ? people I can trust - I can add Somar Landscaping to my list. I think of these folks as partners who want me as a long-term client, and who want to see my property looking as good as I do. Communication ? There is always someone in the office to handle my calls or emails. Billing ? Any questions or disputes I?ve had have been easily resolved. Pride in Workmanship ? As time goes on I?m being less of a control freak. With each new project I leave more details to Angelo?s expertise. At the end of a project, if I?m not happy about something, he?ll work out a solution. Extras ? On more than one occasion Angelo has done work beyond the scope of the agreement, like including extra plants, mulching free-of-charge, and overseeding a second time free-of-charge because he didn?t like the first results. How can you beat that?

My husband and I hired Somar Landscaping in late June to help us with some yardwork we have just been unable to keep up with this year. That meant horribly overgrown hedges and grass. They were very quick to respond, professionally quote and begin service. That wasn't all. They went above and beyond what was asked of them to do. They also weeded and blew all the pine needles and leaves away from the beds and our deck. Our yard looks amazing! We even signed up with them for a fall hedge trim and ongoing mow throughout the rest of the season. I would highly recommend this company!

They walked with me thru the yard and made notes on what I wanted. I don't keep a fancy yard so I can do a lot myself like pull weeds from flowerbeds, plant scrubs and apply lawn chemicals. But I need mowing and fall cleanup, sprinkler winterization. So I can not say how well this company would do with all aspects of landscaping.

They came and gave me a very fair estimate, and then I hired to do lawn mowing every other week for the duration of the mowing season. They came as promised, did a thorough job, and the responsiveness of their office was great. I will use them again next season as well!

We used them and thought they were great. They were willing to work with us in bringing our price down, so that was fantastic. I thought their prices for our large parcel of land was a really good deal. They're very responsive and pleasant to work with. They do what they say they're going to do.

My experience with Somar Landscape was wonderful. I had a few companies give me a quote and I liked the owner and the price he gave me. He's very personable and honest. The quality of their work was perfect and I have no complaints.

Have had more extensive cleanup in the past, but this was adequate for this time. They arrived as scheduled and did a good job. Price could not be beat.

We have had a good overall experience with Somar for several years now. We have expanded the scope of work that they handle to the point where they now do everything.

From my first contact with the owner of Somar about three years ago (maybe longer) he, and his wife who manages the office, have been very responsive and professional. I know they are going to take care of what needs to be done in my yard at a fair price. They always return calls and emails promptly and schedule work promptly after requested.

Their pricing is good, and I really like the owner. He is a very nice guy.
