POST ROAD CARPET

i cannot say enough good things about Post Road Carpet in Marlborough.  I had an issue at another Flooring store in Westborough where they gave me an approximate quote for installed carpet in the store but the final estimate came in thousands of dollars higher.  I walked in and told Carolyn that I was looking for carpet for my finished basement.  She showed me a couple of options but they were a little higher than what we had budgeted.  She then showed me the DreamWeaver carpet.  This was the exact same carpet that we had chosen at the other store!  I was so excited because we had really liked this carpet.  She gave me an initial estimate that included installation and the upgraded pad that we wanted.  They came out to measure the next day and she called me with a final quote, much lower than the Flooring store in Westborough.  We immediately put a deposit down and the carpet came in quickly.  They had to hold the carpet at the store until the builder was finished.  They came to install the carpet.  The installers couldn't have been nicer and did a phenomenal job.  They were very calm and collected when they arrived on the second day of install and I told them my husband seemed to think the wrong color was being installed.  Luckily he was wrong :).  Overall great experience with Post Road Carpet.  I would highly recommend.

Great experience. We went in on Saturday afternoon, placed our order, and they came Sunday morning to install! We are very happy with the quality of the carpet and the installation.

I went to Post Road Carpet showroom on 6/29 with a specific
type of carpet in mind to replace the bedroom carpet I was having
removed.  I spoke with a salesperson, Chrystal, who asked some questions
regarding what I needed and what I had in mind.  She showed me the
carpeting I had in mind, and noted it was high end.  When I realized the
price, I decided to look at other types of carpeting.  Chrystal suggested
looking at remnants and helped me pick one out.  I was able to get the
carpet installed on 7/3.  I absolutely love the carpet, it not only looks
great, and matches the bedroom colors,  it's very soft and of great
quality  
The installers arrived before I expected on Wednesday morning, they called and
let me know they were in the driveway and agreed to wait until I finished
emptying the room of the few items I didn't clean out the night
before.   They moved the furniture I could not remove, ripped up the
old carpet and pad, completed the installation and moved the furniture back
very quickly.   They did a great job.  I'm very pleased with the
service, carpeting and  the installation.   This was my second
purchase from Post Road Capert and I've been very happy each time, would
recommend them to anyone.

The carpet buying experience was very professional and a very good price.  The installation was suppose to take a day.  The installation was nerve racking as the installers must have come and three or four times over two days.  We were coordinating the installation of the new carpet with the movers showing up.  At the end they were almost tripping over each other and the installers really didn't finish their cleanup.
Even with the above I would still buy from Post Road Carpet, but I would want a different installer and would almost ask the owner to be there at the beginning to make sure the job is finished on time.

Desiree came to our home to measure the carpets.  She was pleasant, helpful, friendly, and professional.  She did the measurements and asked us to come in to the store any time to choose the carpet we wanted.  When we came to the store, the salesman, Arthur, had never heard of us and seemed to have a great deal of difficulty finding any record that we had had measurements done.  He showed us the carpet samples and we chose a carpet.  When he finally found the measurements, he calculated the price of removing the old carpet and installing new carpet as $992.  When I called the store the following week to initiate having the work done, Arthur had already discarded his calculations and had no recollection of having spoken to me before.  At this point, I asked to be put back in touch with Desiree, who discovered that Arthur had done the price calculations incorrectly and the actual cost was $1500.  Nonetheless, I chose to go forward with the work.  Desiree was again helpful and arranged for the payment and the scheduling.  On the day of the installation, the crew arrived on time and were polite and friendly.  However, after tearing out the carpets, they left for several hours during the installation without cleaning up, so I had dirt and dust from the old carpets all over the place.  They returned and completed the installation, doing a very good job, but again I had to clean up after them.  I am very happy with the final installed carpets, but the experience could have been a lot better.

Everything was excellent. The people in the store were very helpful and they were knowledgeable about their products. The installers were very polite and very clean. We have used them in the past and we have always been happy with them. It is a good local company and they are easy to do business with. The manager's name was Desiree and there were a couple of little complications and she came through for us. We didn't check around for pricing. We went with them because of their reputation. We didn't want to play games and run around checking for better pricing.

Salesperson assisted me with choosing the carpet in the warehouse and was very helping in giving me information about durability and advice about which type of carpet would be best for the space I was covering (i.e., for children, pets, basement). I narrowed my choice down to three and was able to take the samples home to see how they looked in my house. Once I chose which carpet I wanted they quoted me a price and I scheduled installation. The carpet came in very quickly (within two weeks) and they were ready to install within three days of my calling with a date. Installers worked quickly and took care not to damage walls, etc.

It was pretty cut-and-dry. The price of the carpet was good. We had no problems with the installation guys. They got in and got out. We didn't have any problems with the carpet, either.

Great job from start to finish. The old damaged carpet was removed and the new carpet was installed to perfection, no seams, no mess, everything/furniture was returned to original place. The install and carpet company did a great job.

I DIDNT BUY CARPET FROM THE COMPANY. THEY SENT A REPAIR MAN WHO HAS A HIGH FLAT RATE EVEN FOR A SMALL JOB.
