Momentum Solar

Momentum Solar has abandoned me. They installed the panels, and the loan kicked in, but the meetings were not connected yet. Now I am paying for the panels, and they are still not functioning. Once they hit a snag, they never responded to my calls and have not gotten back to me. I thought I had found an excellent solar company, but I was wrong. Ensure you know when you start paying for the panels and when the system is active.

Momentum took 6 months to complete installation and provided terrible customer service.

Run from this company. They are awful. I worked with them to install solar panels on my roof. It took over 8 months from start to get service started. In the course of this they caused 3 leaks in my home, argued with me extensively about the roof work, delayed and delayed the solar panel install, and drag their feet completely when it came to activate the panels. After I singed papers every step of the way required me to yell and pester them over and over again to get them to do anything. At the end of all of this they offered me 600 dollars for my troubles, but only if I also signed a release that included an NDA. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I was very happy at the time I gave my 1st review for Momentum Solar, it took them only ~2 month to install the 14 solar panels onto my roof in April 2022. But the problem is when can the panels really work and activated to generate electricity. Things slowed down tremendously after that. It took another two month to get the meter installed in June, and it took another month to get the inspection but found out the wiring has an issue which needs rework in July. It took another month till August to get the wiring fixed. And the final inspection is scheduled for another month away in late Sept! The time drags on. Hope this time the inspection will be OK. Which took Momentum more than 7 month to get the job done! I find this like a joke.

They were very nasty, it was a big mess. They didn't do their job properly, no consideration, and didn't return my phone calls. I'm not happy at all.

Team was excellent on installing solar panels

The people were fine. They were fantastic. They were personable. They showed up on time. They were very respectful. They did a great job. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work.

They were very professional and courteous. Their communication was not the best in regards to the procedure with the town, but the reality was they took care of everything and I did not do anything. So far, the production is what I was promised.

Very professional staff; good customer service. The installation was efficient and they kept me up to date on the process until all the inspections were complete. With federal and state tax credits, there was no installation cost to me as the homeowner - I only have to pay my electric use each month.

Their guidance and professionalism made the entire process run smoothly. They kept in touch with me throughout the whole process which made me feel very comfortable with making the switch over to solar because I knew everything that was happening. My electricity bill has been reduced drastically and I've been saving money ever since.
