GUTTERBOYS

It took months for them to do the work.  (I had received great work from them before, so I was *way* too patient while the owner had family/health issues).  They made a small mistake, responded quickly to fix it, but re-fixed it wrong again.  It has now been weeks and the issue is not resolved, after 6-8 phone messages and one conversation with the owner.  It kills me to give them such a harsh rating, but after many calls, many promises, I'm spent.

Quick, efficient, cost-effective. Others gave me elaborate solutions, and Gutterboys gave me a clever solution that worked. I will call them again.

- Arrived on time for the estimate. - Written contract provided. - No downpayment required. Paid 100% after the work was done and after I was satisfied. - Work scheduled for Oct 29. They did not come until Nov 9. No calls from them to indicate the delay. - Work looked good and professional. - There is a new drip right over the door. I have emailed and called for help but have but I have not received a return call (as of 1 week at the time of this posting). As of Nov 27, Gutterboys has not returned my calls regarding the dripping gutter.

Dennis was very responsive to my request for an estimate. He arrived promptly and was very interested to hear my concerns and what I was looking for in the installation. He suggested some things I never would have considered ( and none of the other estimates mentioned). We agreed on a date 10/5 for installation but unfortunately, it was after a very rainy weekend and he had several emergencies to attend to. After some phone tag, we agreed on the gutter installation being completed prior to the dry wells being dug. He and his crew came on 10/9 and installed the gutters. I had to call a few times to find out when he could finish, but he arrived promptly on the set date ( 10/14) and finished the job.

The job took a little longer than we all expected as the weather wasn't cooperating but we were very pleased with the end result.

I liked him because he told me I could wait to replace the gutters and didn't pressure me into anything. They were good about getting here on time and when they left they made sure everything was clean. I am satisfied with the work.

Overall good. Made an extra trip to the house with all color samples in order to get the best match to the new paint job. One minor problem was they split the work into 2 days, which created a small problem in that they did the gutters without downspouts the first day, so I had to put some jury-rigged splash guards to prevent erosion during a nighttime thunderstorm.
