Firewood Service
I liked the fact that the office was able to tell me the average length to which the wood was cut (since I have a wood stove I can't always use the longer pieces in a cord) as well as that it had been stored indoors and seasoned for over a year. I was impressed with their promptness and with the care the delivery driver took to unload the wood exactly where I asked him to. He was courteous and professional. As for the wood itself, I was a little bit disappointed with the quality. Though the quantity was very fair and the wood appeared to be mostly maple, oak and ash as advertised, there were many more small cuts than I would have expected (odd chunks, cutoffs 6"-8" in length, kindling, etc.). Also, some of the wood was on the crumbly side. It may be because it is January and their supplies are getting low.
