They were local, down the street from me. They didn't use all the products that I had specified. I gave them a very precise specification and they didn't follow the specs, so I was a little disappointed in that. They did what the wanted in the end, what they usually do when the guys in the field didn't pay attention to the specs. I asked them to use a weed fabric below the sand layer and they didn't do that, I asked them to use a polymer sand that bonds together and seals out weeds and ants and things from between the bricks. I'm constantly pulling weeds out from between the bricks because they didn't do that. They were here and they left; it took them a half a day to do the work. It's a very small walk. It was scheduled, they came, they did the work, and they left. They were very professional; I'd give them an A for professionalism, but they just didn't follow the spec. They actually were pretty good.

First I contacted Dean who came to the house to assess the job. He provided a very reasonable quote and a date when it could be completed. This is what I like about Simora's service. They respond very quickly to requests. The crew showed up on time and ran into some problems with the clay the well drillers left behind. They worked around the problem and finished the job on time and in budget. I've very happy with the results and quality of work. I've used Simora for several odd landscaping projects and they have always provided a good service for the price.

I've only had one treatment so far, but the guys who showed up took their time and were very thorough. ?Broadleaf weed treatment produced results almost immediately and I'm very much looking forward to getting my lawn back in shape. ?After several months of standard fertilization treatments we'll do some overseeding of problem areas in the fall to restore my lawn aesthetically. ? Very happy with service so far.

We used them last year and we are using them again this year. The quality is great. Last year they really took care of a lot of the weeds we had. We would see them spraying individual weeds as they fertilized for weed control. The grass was nice and green last year. The customer service is good. They will communicate by phone or email. They are able to answer questions when we asked them.

Spoke with Phil, who was great explaining how the woolly algeids damage the trees and how they treat the trees to prevent them.
He gave us a ballpark of when he would be able to come, then phoned the day before and let us know he would be there. He was on time and was professional.
More recently, he phoned on the weekend, to let us know that as it had been a very col winter the woolly algeids wouldn't be as much of an issue. He recommended we look out for them, otherwise, he would check in on us again in the fall.
I was impressed!

I worked directly with Dean Morse at Simora Landscape. Dean showed up on time, listened to what I wanted and was extremely helpful and professional. The guys installing the patio were efficient and finished in less than 3 days (I was given a 3 day time estimate). The area of the lawn where they were sawing the bricks was damaged, however they put down fresh dirt and grass seed before they left. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my patio and the service I received from Simora. If I have a new project, I will definitely use them again.

The actual lawn care is pretty good. We added mosquito and tick lawn treatments, and it worked out pretty well. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our dinners without being attacked by mosquitos. However, when we asked them to mulch our beds, they ruined our white fence. The black mulch stained and scarred our fence in many areas throughout our lawn. They will not return my telephone calls regarding the issue. Also, my husband has e-mailed them a couple of times about the matter, and they will not respond to them either. This is unacceptable!

"I never received a phone call, nor an email regarding this. This Angie's List review is the first time that I am hearing about this. I called Mike, and he also acknowledged that he did not know that (removed member name) wrote this review. My business relationship has always been with Mike, of which, I believe is a good relationship. As for the mulch staining. I inspected the fence and did not see signs of damage nor staining. I believe that the visible dirt could have been caused by rain and splash up. Regardless, this is the first time in 25 years that I have heard of mulch staining a fence. In the future, we will proceed cautiously around white vinyl fences."
