I called for a quote, and within a couple days they came to look at the trees and emailed me a quote. The price seemed reasonable, so I accepted the quote, paid a 25% deposit, got on the list for a visit the next time the weather was good (the treatment needs specific weather - no wind, no rain, not too hot) and they were in my area. He showed up as anticipated, and was done with everything within 30 minutes. The invoice came via email, and I was able to pay online. I am very happy with the service and would call them again.

From getting a quote from Kevin, to scheduling with Kim, and the tree work done by Jason and his crew everything was excellent. It was so pleasant to deal with a company that was customer focused- they worked with me on my difficult schedule, answered all quote questions I had, and arrived on time. Would not hesitate to hire them again for future work.

I'm very happy with the work Regal Tree did. They removed the trees I wanted removed, ground the stumps well below ground level, pruned some severely damaged trees, and left the yard so clean I would not have known they had been there, were it not for the cut trees! (Note: they do not take the mulch from stump grinding away. This was clearly communicated to me ahead of time and was the same with every tree service I got an estimate from.) Also, they cut the trees nearly flush to the ground. This, to me, shows real attention to detail, and a willingness to put in a little extra work to be sure it's a quality job. I asked them to leave the wood, as we have a wood stove, and they left everything over 10" diameter (which I subsequently cut and split myself) while removing all of the brush. This saved me a bit of money on the job ($275, I think) and I got about a season's worth of wood out of it. As an added nice touch, they cut the trees to about 8'-10' lengths, which made them much easier for me to process. Several trees had been dead a long time, some had extensive vines, including some poison ivy, and I was quite nervous about the trees' stability. Regal seemed to have no problems. I'll also say the price was extremely competitive - less than half of one of my other estimates. Finally, I spoke with Kevin on the phone about the work I wanted done, and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. All of this and the quality of work they did more than made up for the small hassles, which are as follows: whenever I called, the call was sent to voicemail immediately. Stacey was VERY prompt about getting back to me, always within an hour (usually faster), but you should be aware you're unlikely to reach a person immediately if you call. Once I figured out that return calls came quickly, this didn't bother me. Second, it was a bit of a long wait to get the work done - a bit over 2 months from when I signed the contract and paid the deposit. Third, they weren't completely clear on when the work would be done. I guess I expected them to set a date and then show up on that date. Instead, Stacey let me know I was on the schedule for the next couple of weeks, and then one morning on my way to work, she called to tell me the guys were on their way, about a week earlier than expected. I actually had wanted to be home to see the work done and was a bit nervous to have them do the work while I was not home. My worries dissipated when I got home and saw what a great job they had done. Still, I can't comment on what equipment they used or exactly how they did the job. If this is how they need to run the business in order to keep costs down, it's ok with me. I would hire them again.

We've used Regal a few times and the work is always top notch. Recently, we hired them to clear several trees as part of a back yard project. The pricing was fair, they showed up when they said they would and the tree removal went great. I will use them again the future and have already recommended them to a neighbor.

Jason and his crew were extremely professional, courteous, and hard working. And once they were done, there was no sign of any remnants from the debris on our property. It was well worth the wait!

Shockingly excellent. I have expectations that a business person should be prompt, communicative, and effective. These guys met that expectation and managed to go above and beyond on Evey level: from estimate, advice, scheduling, courtesy, and execution. And Price!

Pros. The guys when they finally came in did an exceptional job. They are real professionals. Cons. Customer service is not good at all. No one picked the phone. You always have to leave a message. Then customer service rep will call you back. So even quick question will not be answered right away.

Removed tree as requested. When I came home the tree was gone and there was no sign of them even being there - yard was clean.

Regal Tree, after grinding stump, left me 14 heavy wheel barrels full of wood chips and saw dust to remove. Then one month later when I went to open my lawn irrigation system my landscaper discovered they shredded the underground water line with their stump grinder. Regal Tree didn't return my phone, email, or text messages for a week. Then they said they wouldn't fix it or compensate me for the damage because they're "not responsible for underground utilities". I will never let Regal Tree and Shrub Experts on my property again.

Regal tree provided an excellent quote on the work I wanted performed. They communicated when they wanted to do the work, even when we were receiving snow storms. When the weather was clear, they arrived and got to work. The crew was very courteous and professional. They worked around yard obstacles and put down plywood as to not leave tire marks in my lawn. When done, they had not just removed the three large limbs, but had cleaned up some other branches that were not attractive. They exceeded my expectations for the job. The lawn was cleaned and left undamaged. I’m very happy with their work and timeliness.

They have been fabulous. I did not have to be there. I sent them a check, and they did the work. I met the owner, he sent me an quote, and started to work with them. They were right in line with other companies for their price. They did excellent work, no problem with quality at all.

After a number of cancelled dates, they finally showed up on a scheduled date. I expected them first thing in the morning and they showed up early afternoon. Because of this, they had to come back the next day. They arrived early afternoon and were packing up late in the afternoon and I noticed they only did one side of the hedge. After waiting for someone, they started working on completing the hedge. Most of this work was done in the dark. The next day in the daylight, it was obvious that the side of the hedge they did at night, was very uneven and there were areas that did not look trimmed at all. I complained and someone supposedly came over to look at the hedge, but they did not knock on my door or my neighbors door when they came. Someone from the office told me they were happy with the hedge and would not come back.. I expected a discount on the bill, but I did not receive one. Besides the hedge issue they left a number of large oil/hydraulic fluid stains on my driveway and large tire tracks in my lawn.

The job went very well. They showed up and checked what exactly I wanted done and got to work. I asked about indentations in the grass from the truck and they said that they would fix it with a pitch fork. The truck was in place and the guy cut the limbs one by one and carefully dropped them to the ground. I was nervous at first as I have a fence but nothing was damaged. Before he came down, he confirmed if it was good enough or if we wanted more cut..which we did, so he continued. After the job was done, they cleaned up everything. They even moved some limbs to my firewood stack for me to use later-a HUGE favor. The yard looked great as nothing was left behind. The small indents in the grass were fixed too. Kevin and his crew are very nice to deal with and kept communication going. At first I did not know what time to expect them as I had errands, so I did make a call, Kevin returned my call, so I could plan my day accordingly. If you need trees cut or any other service that they provide--hire them. I hired them years ago and am thankful to have had great service both times. It is very hard to find good service sometimes, but when you do...keep it! I did get another quote, as I like to know pricing, and the other quote was higher. Honestly, even if it were cheaper, I most likely would have hired Regal--I trust them (Kevin). And, when you have trees hanging over your house, and hire someone to cut them, the last thing you want to hear is "oops" or "uh oh".

I have used Regal Tree and Shrub Experts previously and was completely satisfied with the work. I contacted Kevin and he provided an estimate for the new work to be done (two locations) and a time line for getting started.....Kevin and his team arrived on time, did an outstanding (safe) job, cleaned up the sites and returned a day later to grind the stumps.

Wonderful! The men on the crew were prompt and courteous to me and my children. They cleaned up small brush and debris at every phase on the job. They worked conscientiously and diligently. I could not have asked for better service!

I was very pleased with the workers that were sent out. They got to my home on time and got right to work. I asked the owner if I could add work to the job and he was able to fit it in for me. I got their business cards and will be giving them to my neighbors that need tree service, and down the road when I need more tree service I will use them again.
