PRO INSULATORS

Estimator came quickly, provided a competitive bid.  Installers arrived and completed installation in 1 day.  Left area neat.  Now able to work in garage with small heater in winter and without heat buildup in summer.

The company started off on the right footing by providing a competitive price and prompt service. However, their work turned-out to be absolutely horrendous. After a year of experiencing very high utility bills and ice dams, I got the insulation inspected by 3 reputable insulation contractors that I found off of Angie's list . We found that Pro Insulator had left gaping holes in the insulation and did not do any type of air sealing in the finished attic build-out. One insulation contractor who came to remedy the problem (a star member of Angie's list) told me that the Pro Insulator "hack job" was the worst he had seen in his career. Following his repair, my gas consumption was cut by more than half (even after correcting for heating degree days) . Funny thing is that the repair was cheap and quick. If only the Insulator Pros had done a reasonable job, I would not have had to go through a winter feeling perpetually cold in the house, while hemorrhaging fuel at the same time. In this case, the lowest bid turned out to be the most expensive (and most painful) .
