Simple Greens Landscaping LLC.

One of the workers with Simple Greens destroyed a 5' x 6' section of my retaining wall while doing unassisted work in a Bobcat in a neighbor's yard. Troy agreed, in writing, to discuss the repair with me before starting the work. Instead, he sent two workers into my backyard one morning without even letting me know beforehand. The wall was never completely rebuilt and they left cracks in the mortar. Nobody ever came to review the work. Avoid Simple Greens at all costs.

Awful! Troy sent the 1st quote they gave us was $2900 for mulch install, cut grass bushes, clean up sticks, remove debris new sod in front of house. We called told him we didn’t want sod. So he said no problem. We asked for a 2nd quote of what would cost for balance. He said I will. So instead he sent his crews without that quote. His crews came out 3 times. #1 cut grass and did a crappy job. # 2 Two workers pulled old bush and; later mulch weed block. We asked for red mulch but got brown. They never took the bush away but placed it under our deck. #3 Four guys came out to lay weed block and reseed lawn. There were minimal places for seed. They never added mulch at location of old bush. We watched a couple guys sat in their cars on their phones while 1 crew guy talked in his phone while shoveling. Crappy workers. So we get 1st invoice $1250 for lawn work mulch lay etc. Then we got another invoice for $650 for seeding. We were blown away told him it was outrageous for the work that was done. This guy is a crook. DONT HIRE HIM!

I worked with Troy at Simple Greens Landscaping twice for fall and spring clean-up. This is my personal experience so use this as one data point in your decision making. I don't want this to turn into a rant, so I'll keep it simple: Troy lacks the planning / communication skills and transparency that I would want to see from any professional services company. I've worked with gutter, housecleaning, fencing, chimney, and waterproofing companies. I feel like I have a reasonable idea of what to expect. I don't think Troy or his company are bad people -- I think they are merely very poor at scheduling their jobs and communicating with their customers. If that doesn't both you, by all means work with Simple Greens. My personal experience: Simple Greens doesn't commit to specific dates unless you express how upset you are with the process and force their hand. This was the case for both the spring and fall cleanup for me. This gives them the leeway to keep telling you "next week" when next week comes and goes without any service done. When Troy would indicate that he would come to the house for an estimate, get back to us, or actually have his team come by to do the work, he wouldn't keep up his end of the bargain. I had to constantly keep emailing him asking for updates. Listen, it comes down to this: Troy just kept saying he or his team would do things but never would and never proactively reached out to me when he knew he wasn't going to hit a commitment. I don't mind missing commitments -- I get it, things come up. However, it's frustrating as a customer to keep having to reach out and find out what's going on / why the work hasn't been done yet. It's even more frustrating when you ask to be added to the fall clean-up schedule and we find ourselves at the end of December with no work ever done on our yard. I wouldn't work with Simple Greens again simply because I can't rely on them. When they did the fall cleanup, the quality and price were great -- but that was after many weeks of giving them chance after chance to make up for previous apologies.

Great. They came in with a crew, worked fast, and did a great, clean job.

The job was completed quickly - faster than originally expected.

Fair at best, messy job not done as described and broke material..unresponsive. Never again.

Working with Simple Greens Landscaping was a phenomenal experience. I received a quote the day after I called and then the work was completed the following day. The quote was very reasonable and the individual who did the work was prompt, friendly, and professional. Will most certainly be using them for our future landscaping needs and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Couldn't be happier. The winter of 2015 was rough. Really rough. Troy and his crew were right on top of things . They were clearing out the snow on my property immediately after each storm and they did a good job too. Reliable, quality and reasonable prices. What else can you ask for ?!
