Sal was extremely responsive, and returned my calls promptly every time. I had to move the date of the job last minute due to a potential structural issue, and Sal was understanding of the change. This is a family run business, so it was pleasant and even fun to have the plasterers around for the day. He told me upfront that I would need to paint the walls afterwards, so I included that in the job with the painters. There was some plaster that got on some of the trim that I hadn't expected to paint, and Sal came back personally to help clean that up prior to the painting. He also personally did one more coat on a few of the walls, as it is hard to tell exactly how it will look until it is dry. The main painter on the job said that the plaster job was so smooth that he barely had to sand it at all. After we had our painting finished and installed some shelves, we had some issues with the drywall, and I hired him again to fix and patch the nail pops which he did efficiently and well and was flexible with my schedule. Price quoted below is for the 1st large job. Sal went above and beyond at every step of the job. He wasn't the cheapest quote (although not far behind), but I knew I could trust him to do the job well. I would recommend (and have recommended) Sal to anyone for a plaster job.

We called Sal to help with several projects. A section of plaster in the kitchen and dining room had to be removed to allow the wall to dry after it was damaged by an ice dam. Sal closed it with plasterboard and skim coated it. Now we can't tell where the repair was made. We had blown-in insulation put in and Sal repaired the holes; now we can't see where the insulation holes were made. We removed some paneling and three dropped ceilings. He and his cousins installed plasterboard and plastered. In a couple of rooms we did not want to go back to the studs so Sal patched and skim coated those rooms. We did these projects over several months and Sal worked with us patiently. He is skilled and we were very pleased with his work. He also returns calls promptly, arrives on time, leaves the house very clean, and is pleasant. We recommend him and will use him again as we continue renovating the house.

Mr. LaFauci plaster repaired sections of my kitchen ceiling and family room ceiling and walls. He was easy to work with, from initial contact and estimating through scheduling and completing the work. Very accommodating in setting the date for the work, and since I did some of the demolition work he even visited my home a second time prior to the day of the job to inspect for readiness. Quality of repair was excellent, blended in nicely with existing walls and ceilings so as not to notice there was any work done at all. I would not hesitate to hire him for future work.

Sal was wonderful to work with - responded promptly and squeezed me into his schedule which was a huge help to me (dealing with other house issues/projects). His crew did a beautiful job. I am very happy with my new ceiling! I would definitely hire him again.

Sal has just finished our project and we could not be happier with our experience working with him and the results. So much so that we have him estimating other project that we would like to do in the near future. He finished on schedule as promised. We would highly recommend Sal for any of your future projects.

I got Sal's name through a referral. I called him and within one hour he was at my house to do an estimate. He came the very next week, on time, did the job in one day, and cleaned up before he left. He left the room spotless. The best thing, in addition to the beautiful job he did on the ceiling, was I had asked him to repair a crack in a kitchen ceiling, and two cracks on some walls while he was here. While it would be difficult to get someone to come and just do those two minor jobs, he was happy to do them when he finished the ceiling. The total was $1000 which was extremely fair. I have already referred him to someone. Very satisfied.

Contacted Sal through a referral. He took my first call and was willing to be flexibile with a same day estimate meeting. We met for 15 mins, he looked over my small 1st floor 9x6 bathroom, and called me hours later with an estimate. With the work involved and time it would take he was very competitive and reasonably priced, and was willing to move his schedule around to accomodate my timeline/completion needs. The work was done excellently on the day and time as planned.
Any plastering needs I have in the future I will definately give Sal a call.

In all situations I give Sal my very strongest recommendation. He is a 100% honest and reliable, fair and a man of great integrity. I would hire him any time to do anything within his broad range of skills. His prices are fair and he's a total pro. His work is of the highest quality and he is a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for someone to do any kind of plastering, drywall, tile, or masonry, I very strongly recommend you hire Sal LaFauci.

The work was beautiful, we were so happy. He was nice and helpful to work with. He walked us around the home and gave good advice. We even had him back out to do more repair work. He was always prompt and cleaned up after himself. We would definitely use him again. He is the kind of person who would remember you and would fit us in to do future work. He gave good recommendations for how to save money in the future.

Sal showed up on time and generally left things in order. Unfortunately, "done" for him meant two coats of drywall compound, with all the trowel marks that go with it! Not as bad as intentional stucco, but *very* visible. I called him up and asked when he would return to do the sanding. He replied, "I've never done sanding in my life. That's a painter's job." Well I'm not familiar with the borders between construction jobs, but in this case, I'm the painter, and my walls weren't going to look smooth unless I sanded. That took three hours. While sanding I noticed several places where he had gotten compound on the dark stained wood trim and in some places apparently tried to wipe if off. It needed more... I guess that's a painter's job too. I complained and attempted to pay him the same amount quoted by the other contractor who was up-front about the sanding. Sal got belligerent, so I paid the remaining $75. Not worth the hassle.

I FELT THAT HE WAS COMPLETELY THOROUGH. HE IS RELIABLE. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME. HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. HE DID 2 COATS OF PLASTER. THIS WAS A VERY COMPLICATED PROJECT. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE HIM AGAIN AND HAVE REFERRED HIM TO OTHERS.
