RADICAL RADIATOR RESTORATIONS

I had 8 readiators to be restoered. Joel was very responsive in emails and communications, the quote that I got was very reasonable and included in-home pick up and delivery. The project was done on time as he promised and the radiators were delivered in perfect shape. I connected all the radiators myself and tested them, all were working despite one that was leaking at the valve joint. I contacted Joel to get the name of recommended Plummer and he offered to come and check it. Upon checking on the radiator, he was able to tighten it up carefully to not break the old pipes, and voila! no leaks afterward. I would defenitely recommend Radical radiator restoration to any one and will use it again for any future work. (See the old and restored pictures below)

Joel was extremely helpful in figuring out what size radiators we needed in each room, and was even kind enough to come by and take a look at the rooms before we made the purchase, for more peace of mind. He was super patient with us and many back-and-forths about the radiators. We are very happy with the service and with the radiators.

Joel refinished our radiators as part of an Ask This Old House segment. (This is why I listed $0 for price; ATOH paid for the work, not us.) He did great work and our radiators look wonderful. We no longer put covers over them.

Excellent! Joel is a total pleasure to deal with. A+! I contacted Radical Radiators and Joel got back to me immediately. We made an appt. and he actually arrived a bit early. I was still in bed. He was totally considerate and went to get a cup of coffee while I got up! He was careful not to track in any dirt and to plug up the radiator so any water left inside wouldn't slosh out. I asked him about the process and he was happy to tell me how the process he uses to sandblast and paint. I was having the room the radiator was in totally redone. Of course it took much longer to get it done than I expected. Joel was so helpful and kept the radiator for me for weeks after he had it ready so that the room could be completed. He returned the radiator when it was convenient for me with the same friendliness and care. He didn't ask for any payment until he delivered it back even though I had to wait for the painter to finish the room.

They did a beautiful job and took great pride in how it looks and works. The workers were very pleasant and worked clean. The price was very much in line with the quality of work, and I was glad to pay.

Joel provided price estimates and gave directions to his shop over the phone. He was also available via email. Joel was very flexible with times for us to drop off the radiator and pick it up. If we had not been able to move it, he would have transported it for a reasonable fee. Since we were uncertain about the paint options, he was happy to show us finished samples so we could make a good choice. When we picked it up, he was willing to answer any questions we had in terms of installation. He clearly cares about what he does and wants his customers to be happy.
