Snow Removal
We used this company for the first time in our new condo. I will not be using them this coming snow season! They usually showed up when there was only a little snowfall. However, during the big blizzards, they never even showed up. Once we called them to find out if they were going to help dig us out of the driveway, they finally showed up with 2 guys and little shovels and stayed for 15 minutes. The job required a snow plow, or at least more time on the property. We were forced to spend another $300 to call out another company for a quick fix. I would never use this company again.

Snow Removal
I wasn't very happy with them this year and so I am considering going with someone else next year. They do a fixed rate contract, which I really liked, but it seems like they didn't plan ahead for all the fixed rate contracts and so they didn't show up on time as they were supposed to. The contract said they were supposed to clear by a certain time of the week and that never seemed to happen. I had to call them a lot to see if they were coming, and there were a couple of times I had to call to ask when there were 3-4 inches on the ground, and they seemed confused, like thinking their crew had already been here or that they had just forgotten. I am not very pleased with them.

Snow Removal
This was my second winter having a snow removal contract with them. Last year I had only one minor problem, and they were responsive when I called (granted, we only had 8 inches of snow all last winter.) When the real snow came this year, they were no where to be found and did not return phone calls or e-mails. Snow ended Saturday morning, Sunday night I drove by my business due to open the next morning and nothing had been touched. My wife had to do the shoveling to make the building accessible as business opened at 7am. Monday morning, having still not been able to reach them, I hired another company to come and do the rest of the shoveling, including the driveway and the parking area. Mystic River Property Management did end up showing up briefly on Monday, but they left after making one narrow walking path from the sidewalk down the driveway (for reasons I do not understand), leaving the driveway and parking area unaccessible to my tenants/those who work in the building. Fortunately I had already hired another company, who showed up as promised on Monday afternoon. But by that point it was raining and the snow was wet and heavy, leading to an over $700 bill to have the second company shovel it out. (they could no longer use snow blowers or plow because of how heavy the snow was)
I once again tried contacting Mystic River, but I could not leave a message because the voicemail box was full. There was still a pile of snow the city had dumped in the street blocking the driveway, and to the companies credit they showed up on Tuesday afternoon and removed it. However because they never returned my calls or responded to e-mails, I had no idea they would come and had already arranged to have that removed Tuesday night by the city, so it wasn't necessary.
I sent one final e-mail to them letting them know I was hiring another company in their place because they had not only not done the work I had hired them to do, but they had also not communicated with me. They did respond to that e-mail, but only to tell me that I was wrong, and that they removed the snow and fulfilled their agreement and had pictures to prove it. They said that I could cancel the contract but I would owe them money. I don't know what kind of pictures they have, but I have pictures Sunday night of a snowed in building and snow covered sidewalk, I know my wife shoveled the front entrance and sidewalk, and I know the other company hand shoveled the driveway and parking area on Monday afternoon and have many eye witnesses.
As a business owner, I need to have reliable service and communication, neither of which this company could offer when it was needed most. I also did not appreciate their lying to me, telling me that they were the ones to do the work. I would not hire this company again, nor would I recommend any one else who needs to have honest and reliable service.

Snow Removal
Mystic River Property Management LLC did a good job. They moved all the snow to the backyard and removed it the next day. They were flexible.
