Maria Fernandez has been my housekeeper for over 11 years. We are all extremely satisfied with the services that she has provided. She cleans our house thoroughly and efficiently. She vacuums carpet and rugs. She cleans the floors, the kitchen and bathrooms, and makes the beds. She washes and irons the clothes. In the past, she even made dinner when I was ill or extremely busy. She is always on time. She has missed only a few days during the 11 years. She is pleasant and is an all-around nice person. One of the disadvantages of using a service instead of a single individual is the lack of flexibility. Maria has done everything that I have asked of her including shampooing carpets, cleaning out attic space, and other infrequent chores. Another disadvantage of using a service is breakage. Over the past 11 years, at most 4 or 5 items have been broken. She has been coming to our house twice a week but we have now cut back since our children are now in college. Maria is very honest and trustworthy. I am usually not at home when she arrives so I leave her my keys. My sons often leave money in their pants pockets. Maria leaves the money on the dryer. You will not find a better housekeeper than Maria.
