I had an issue with a leaking toilet in my house. Bobby came out the next day, equipped to resolve whatever the problem was. Before charging me for materials and labor for a new toilet, he did everything he could to make sure there wasn’t a more cost-efficient solution. He showed me the physical cause of the leak and thoroughly explained why the toilet had to be replaced. Because he was so well prepared, he was able to replace the toilet that same morning, and it works perfectly. He also fixed the shutoff valve that had been broken for years. His price was very reasonable and worth every penny given the quality of the new Kohler toilet he installed, his quick response time, as well as friendly and professional service he provided. I can’t recommend LaMattina Plumbing highly enough. Thanks again, Bobby!

LaMattina was incredibly responsive and I was even able to get a same day appointment. He got to my house right when he said he would, explained to me everything he was doing and why it was necessary and left the place cleaned up when he left. I would not hesitate to make LaMattina my regular plumber/furnace company.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a plumber. He quoted me $100 - $150 on the phone. He came with his sone and they were here for over two hours - doing god know what in the basement for 45 minutes then left for "a part" and didn't come back for almost an hour. I only saw actual work done in my presence - the washer and dryer in a closet in my condo - for about 30 minutes when they lifted the washer off and redid the attachments. He complained the entire time using offensive terms about the plumber who had installed the washer and then charged me a whopping $500 plus out of nowhere. Be warned - do not trust La Mattina.

"The member called that she had no cold water only hot to wash her clothes and it was damaging her clothes. She said washer was about 1.5 years old and that it has never worked correctly. I told her that it could be as simple as valve off. I arrived to her house and she took me to the washer. The washer and dryer unit was a stackable unit stuck in a closet in the middle of here condo with ¼ inch space around it. I proceed to the basement to see if any valves might be off. The ceiling below was finished and there were no shutoffs for washer. I told the member that I would need 2 men to remove and reinstall the units to check water connections. She said okay. I called my son who is also a master plumber to come over. We removed the dryer from a top washer. The vent line was completely clogged. The original installer screwed the vent pipe and fittings together which is a FIRE HAZZARD and is also not to code. They should have been taped. I told the member that we have to remove and replace were necessary. She said her clothes took long time to dry. The vent went thru the floor, to the basement ceiling, around the cellar stair case to outside house. The water lines behind washer were reversed from original installer. We reinstalled the stackable unit. I showed the member that the dryer was blowing correctly and that she had cold water to her washer. We also repaired her clogged shower head. The member paid me in full and sign job invoice slip acknowledging she was satisfied with above work. Thank You, Robert LaMattina"
