Our project was on time and on budget. It was also excellent quality. We started demo in Dec 2011. We had framers and roofers here during the dead of winter. We did have one issue with the framing sub not tying down tarps well during a storm, but Kevin came out to our house within the hour (almost an hour drive for him) and got the framers up from Fall River and got it taken care of during the storm. Kevin worked off of our architect's plans, but made several suggestions to improve both functionality and aesthetics. Kevin went with me to the stone yard to pick my granite for my bathroom - I would have been happy just picking something from a big box store, but he insisted we go to the stone yard and I'm SOOO glad he did. We got a very unique piece and were able to determine where to cut to get exactly the part of the stone that matched our room. Then, when the stone yard made a mistake about which slab we wanted, Kevin dealt with the situation and ensured we got the right stone. Kevin also saw the kinds of tile I was looking at for the tub enclosure and went to a store near him and found the perfect green. We then worked together to pick some additional complimentary pieces. His tile work is precise and perfect. Things that we would have thought were perfect were not to Kevin and he took extra time to ensure things were exact to his standards. When our hardwood floor were done in our L shaped hallway, Kevin had the installers run the boards in different directions with a diagonal across the 90 angle. Its a little thing but it looks so beautiful. We delayed a few of our timelines because we lived in the house during construction and planned some of the most disruptive projects for when we were on vacation. But Kevin was right on schedule. Because we lived in the house and because I was home with two young children for the majority of the project it was important to have professional and appropriate workers in the home. All of Kevin's subs were polite, professional and kind and friendly to my kids. Kevin himself helped my kids build a snowman one day and had a tea party with my daughter. He understood that there were lots of changes in their world and tried to make it less upsetting by being kind and making friends with them. I never felt unsafe or concerned by what my children might hear during the project. A few problems did come up, but we were able to resolve them by talking the problem through with Kevin. We were very pleased with his response to any issue we had. Our project was completed in May 2012. We will absolutely use Kevin for future renovation plans, and he has helped us out with some smaller projects since the major renovation was complete.
