I handed Tom a rather challenging project. Our home has a sweet 1960s kitchen which was made for simpler times when appliances were fewer and smaller. Tom was tasked with retrofitting a full size dishwasher into an extremely tight space and he managed very well. He cut the cabinets carefully and maintained the existing look of the kitchen, reusing the existing wood and touching it up to great effect. 
Tom is very responsive and gave me a reasonable quote (which was in line with another, bigger company from out of town). Tom is also a very pleasant person to work with.

He was kind, intelligent, and very experienced. He came over and looked at all the different things and helped me create a list that was like a punch list of different things that needed to be redone or fixed on the front porch. He consulted on how the wood is supposed to be installed and how to make different things so that they are done in a beautiful decorative way, but also done in the best way possible to help to prevent water damage over the years. He knows how to make things aesthetically beautiful, but also he is very skilled at working with wood. He has two kinds of licenses. He has the home improvement contractor's license, which is called the HIC, and he also has a supervisor's license. If you have an old house that you want to restore, then Tom is totally on board with that. He understands old houses and woodworking.
