Flooring
Stephen Goodwin and his helper Joe arrived right on time to give the estimate. Both men were friendly and affable. The estimate was given on the spot. I called them back and set up a date for them to do the work, which was about a week later.
The first day of the job they arrived a bit early and wasted no time getting started. I asked Steve if he could refinish the front door threshold, which was not stated as part of the job, and he said no problem. They finished the job in three consecutive days as they said they would.
The refinished floors look great including the area of the flooring that was replaced. The pleasant surprise was that they repainted the heating grates (registers), which before were looking pretty shabby. This was not specified as part of the job but they went the extra mile to make everything about the downstairs floors look great.
