Got quotes from several businesses, First Class Tin Knockers was by far the lowest, and included better equipment. Jason seemed like a very personable guy, and we wanted to give him our business. Lesson learned - they are a small shop that seems to be overbooked/understaffed. The project took much longer than indicated, it was very difficult to get a response from them, workers showed up at our house with no prior communication, and they rescheduled several times, last minute. There was one day that we had specifically agreed that Jason would be onsite to oversee the work, and after several phone calls and texts, it became clear that he had no intention of being there. I had to miss work because I'd never met the guy that was sent as a replacement, and didn't feel comfortable leaving him in the house. The project had a lot of snags, and the overall experience could have been vastly improved had Jason picked up the phone every week or so to give us an update, or explain his approach. They definitely over promised and under delivered.
