I had a fire inspection for a 5 unit condo. While there i also requested a quote to replace a sprinkler head. Two individuals came over and were pleasant, asked me a handful of questions, filled out the report and left. A few weeks later I read the report a little more diligently and realized there was a huge error. The inspector had asked me a question, I said 'no', so he checked off 'no'. Well, the question was worded such that by checking off 'no', it meant 'yes'. This was not the case, so I reached out on multiple occasions to get the inspection report fixed. (Two phone messages and an email correspondence.). After two months I do not have a fixed report and never got the quote on changing the sprinkler head.

I just liked the person who handled the call first; he was also the contact person. They were kind of very pushy for the kind of problem. They did not have any sympathy for my problem. They had an arrogant attitude. They had no concern for the customer. It’s kind of funny, because the service person didn’t do any work. It’s the contact person who was very thorough and did a good job. I wasn’t too happy with the price. Initially they were supposed to come and replace the tank. I spoke to them and told them that the hot water tank was under warranty. They were kind of reluctant to honor the warranty. They finally gave in and prorated this and that. I told him that I really didn’t care; I had the warranty and I wanted to take advantage of that. They had to retrieve the service man and go back and get the correct replacement part. I wasn’t too happy with the way they treated me. Under the new warranty you are supposed to get some paperwork because the new tech is under new warranty. I did call them back after the work was completed to get some paperwork for some backup. I had paid something extra for the warranty because they gave me a story that there was a $50 service charge for using the warranty. I needed to get some proof so that it didn’t happen in future. I did call them and they didn’t care about that and that was my problem. They actually broke on Thanksgiving Day. They reprimanded my mother who is eighty five and she set up the appointment. They told her that she could have called them yesterday and had to pay twice on a holiday. It wasn’t a good experience at all. They were recommended to me by a friend. I wouldn’t use them in the future.

I called, they set my mind at ease and scheduled me for the next morning. I didn't even have to leave to get a new faucet. They showed up, showed me the faucets, I chose the one I wanted and the plumber installed it very fast. They took my credit card and that was it. Very simple.

Since Michael had installed my furnace when I converted from oil to gas, I called him about my front entryway ceiling that I had shown him before had watermarks on it. I had called him several times but I had had good experience with his work. He gave me an estimate of the work to be done to discover the problem. He called me during the day after checking with his workers to tell me the problem/cost. I was not present when the work was done. His mechanic and helper did a good job, making clean cuts in the blueboard so that, if possible, they could be re-used. I have had no problem since with the plumbing in the bathroom. He also gave me some tips about keeping the drains clear, although the problem had been there for years before I had purchased the house. I was able to see proof of the old pipes in one of the bags left for trash pick-up. I had not thought to ask them to leave the faulty, clogged, back-pitched pipes before I let them do the work. I am satisfied with his work.
