I hired Ultra Heating and Air Conditioning to correct an issue I had with my (last) home. The two floors were heating and cooling unevenly. Stephen came to the home to assess the situation, and offered a solution including new vents, cleaning filters, and the like. He spoke confidently about me getting about 70% relief. The problem is, he didn't even notice that the two vents on the top floor were on different thermostats. As a result, I got 0% relief. When I sold the house, I even had to drop my selling price by $1,500 due to HVAC issues. Now, he's taking me to small claims court to get paid in full. What a disaster. I seriously hope no one else gets taken in by his lack of knowledge and professionalism. It's one thing to make a mistake, another entirely to think you deserve full payment for a job horridly done.
