PYBURN OIL INC

Pyburn has serviced our home for over two years without issue. Just got my most recent oil bill and thought it looked high in light of the falling oil prices. With one phone call they dropped the price 10%. From there I decide to shop around and found multiple companies that offered prices 15% lower than Pyburn's reduced price. I was floored by how uncompetitive their pricing was. As a result we no longer work with Pyburn oil.

Pyburn is a great local oil company. Very friendly and you'll likely get the owner on the phone when you call. He may even be the one who comes out to the house to give you an estimate for any work. Pete looked over my boiler system, quickly identified items that needed updating, and gave me an estimate right there so I booked the service appointment. John showed up on time for the work and did a complete overhaul of my boiler. He was very professional, friendly, and he worked quickly while patiently explaining what he was doing (I hung around and asked a lot of questions because I'm curious about these things). He was careful to clean up thoroughly when he was done. I haven't had any problems since the job. I highly recommend Pyburn.

Excellent job; very professional and courteous. Could not expect more from a contractor. Great experience. Installed new Buderus boiler and hot water tank, re-plumb forced hot water lines, new water pumps and electronics. Their bid was slightly higher than others, but they were able to install a horizontal hot water tank integrated with the top-of-the-line Buderus boiler. After the installation there was a problem with "rusty water" from the hot water tank. Peter took care of getting the various reps in to assess the situation and replaced the tank at no additional charge to me. From the first phone call to get an estimate to finished installation was less than four weeks.

I have never had to call them to get my oil delivered, they always bring it at the scheduled time. Anytime I have placed a service call, I have never had to wait longer than an hour for someone to show up. It's almost always fixed after the first call. They are always polite and considerate while in my home.
