the contractor tried to charge a 40% upcharge for some extra work his team needed to do to cut in boards around some masonry for the garage doors. This work should have been part of his initial bid instead of trying to gouge us when the work was almost complete. his gutter installers did not install gutters in an asthetically pleasing way - and then had to reinstall very long runs so they were pitched correctly. There are a number of areas that the water runs directly across on the gutters and Mr Cerqueiras has not been able to find time to come to the house to take a look at those areas and correct them. In fact, he has repeatedly made appointments which he then either cancels at the last minute or simply does not show up.
Overall, I feel he is not a responsible business owner nor did he deal with us in an ethical way.
