Owner operated. Additional email - [email protected] Established 1958 - Plumbing, Heating repairs and new installations. My father Michael Russo started the business from our home in 1958 with a single used truck. I remember going to jobs and working with my father at 10 years old. In 1970 I purchased the business and equipment and helped to build the business just large enough to keep things under control and keep my customers happy with our work. In 2020 I sold my business to my younger brother David Russo. David went to jobs & helped me at only 12 years old and became a Master plumber, Pipe fitter, gas fitter & sprinkler contractor. In 2022 we were forced to go union to get the knowledgable plumbers needed to keep our quality work and service. We were able to pay union wages and keep our prices competitive to this date. He also was not able to finish the installation of the instant hot water by the sink because the screw that came with the unit was too short. I feel that he should have got one and even come back to finish the job. After all he did go and buy a compression fitting he needed and he could have got the screw at the same time. The owner, Michael Russo called me the next day and I explained everything to him. He told me to call him when I got the screw and he will send the installer back to rectify the run of the pipe and put the screw in. The installation was done on the 6/3/14 and although I got the screw some time back I only remebered to call him on 10/22/14 to send the installer. It seemed he did not remember anything (and probably did not want to remember that he had spoken to me) and on top of it he wanted to charge me an hour just to install the screw and their location is only 5 minutes from my residence. Even though I told him not to worry about repositioning the pipe by the hot water heater.
Would I use them again, NEVER. Obviously they do not stand behind their work.

If he had purchased it from us we would have certainly gotten the part or given him a new appliance at no cost This was explained to him that defective owner equipment would not be guaranteed by us and there would be a charge to repair his unit. This man is very unreasonable and would be a problem to any other installer as well. It is too bad there is not a list of bad consumers to warn business owners."

The only questionable practice was the billing of the time from when the plumber left their shop and arrived at my home. I was charged an hour for this time from their shop in Lynn to my home in Swampscott.
If you do plan on using them, just be aware of this billing practice prior to hiring them.
