I'm taking them to court. This was the worst company I have ever dealt with and I am suing them. He lied, did not do the job for the quoted price, was not on time, did the job improperly, was unprofessional, and the unit was not hooked up properly. No permit was pulled when it was stated it had to be done, as he absolutely refused.

The last two days in MA where in the 90's. The outside AC condenser kept overheating and shutting down. My wife googled contractors to either replace or fix the unit. Through ServiceMagic.com, she was directed to J Strong on 8/17, in the afternoon. He returned a phone call within minutes. The owner, Jason Strong, stated he could be at our home by 8:20 am the next morning. He stated he would take a look and it may be an easy fix. Possibly under $150 parts/labor. He showed up at our door at 8:15 AM with an assistant. It took him only ten minutes to diagnose and fix the issue. He replaced the fan capacitor. Parts/labor was $138.00. The condenser has worked perfectly all day and night.

Strong and Associates made a complete mess of my basement, costing me thousands of dollars. During the boiler installation, they cut the tank in the basement, and kicked up into the air, Florida clay (an oil spill absorbent) dust particles that spread throughout the entire basement, coating surfaces with a greasy, dusty, oil smelling film. Then, after admitting fault, he tried to clean up, but ended up breaking up and illegally removed asbestos tile on the floor, creating another cleanup nightmare. He then inappropriately used cleaning and odor masking chemicals, that made it impossible to go into the basement for weeks. We had to tape the door to the basement shut! We ended up disposing of thousands of dollars of stuff that was too soiled to clean, and it ruined our dryer (all the dust got sucked into our clothing). Months later, we still have to do our laundry elsewhere. Then, to top it all off, he fabricated a story to his own insurance company, denying he had any responsibility! Don't use this guy, even if he has the lowest price. You will pay later.

"I WAS CALLED TO INSTALL A HEATING SYSTEM AND OIL TANK AND IN ORDER TO BE AWARDED THE CONTRACT, I HAD TO AGREE TO FIX A GAPING HOLE IN THE CHIMNEY THE SIZE OF A BASKET BALL ANT THE ENTIRE BASEMENT WAS COVERED IN SOOT. I PROCEEDED TO PUT DOWN ROSIN PAPER, PAINTERS PLASTIC OVER THE ENTIRE BASEMENT AND DROP CLOTHES COVERING THE ENTIRE FLOOR. ALL THE CLOTHS AND OTHER ITEMS THAT WERE DAMAGED HAPPENED BEFORE I GOT THE JOB BECAUSE I WASN'T BLAMED UNTIL TWO WEEKS AFTER LEAVING THE JOB SITE BECAUSE ALL SOOT WAS UNDER THE CLOTHS AND PLASTIC. AFTER REMOVING ALL OF MY COVERINGS WE FOUND SIGNS MARKED YARD-SALE JUNK AND WAS GOING TO BE GIVEN AWAY AND THROWN AWAY THERE IS NO WAY ANY OF THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY MY COMPANY. EVEN STILL I OFFERED TO CLEAN THE BASEMENT AND DID SO. ALSO THE INSURANCE CO WENT TO INVESTIGATE MY STORY, THEY CONCURRED AND DENIED THE CLAIM."
