Very polite and accommodating to my requests

We had to discuss some of the work, such as removing tree trunk with small amount of chain link fence embedded. once we figured out together how to remove it all, they got it done! I appreciated business owner's willingness to discuss and analyze the challenges.

DO NOT USE. Edgar showed up and completed 3/4 of the work he promised and ended up creating more of a mess than I had before. He covered my house and fence and Debris. When trying to get a hold of him to come to clean it up and finish the job, he avoided all calls. I had to call from a different number for him to pick up. He said he would resolve it that week, but then he then sent out a crew to clean the fence and house and tried to charge me $175 for it and did not finish the job he promised. Unreliable, unresponsive and overall horrible business. Stay far away.

Very professional. Very prompt. Did an amazing job on a strictly labor project. I had an above ground pool removed and needed all the sand removed and a deck taken down. They did a great job! Exactly what I asked them to do.

Based upon my payment at the time of my last servicing, they said it includes a return service in two weeks. The job they did was very good. I look forward to their return next week.

They are very timely and do a great job on mowing my lawn. The first visit was a yard cleanup and mulching and it was just the way I wanted it. They are also very reasonably priced and I am paying less for mowing than ever before!

Over the weekend I trimmed some shrubs and pruned some tree branches. When came the time to take them away, I figured it would take me a couple of trips to the dump and $65 for a sticker, or I could hire somebody as long as the cost was under $100. It shouldn’t have taken a professional more than 30 minutes to remove that stuff from the yard. After posting a request for estimates on HomeAdvisor, I received and email from Edgar at DL Landscaping & Construction and we arranged for him to come over that evening for an estimate. He came over, looked at the job and told my wife it would cost $85. Before she even had a chance to respond, he lowered the price to $75. She repeated back to him - $75, and he confirmed - $75. He said she could write him a check and she responded “I’ll give you $75 in cash”. So the amount ($75) was pronounced 4 times. Next day Edgar and another guy showed up and removed the branches (they did a good job and it took them about half an hour). When my wife gave Edgar $75 he told her that his original estimate was $275. She was shocked and in disbelieve, telling him that he quoted $75, but he was just repeating that it was a misunderstanding. Being very upset, she just couldn’t bring herself to argue about it anymore, and just paid him $275 in cash. I feel that we’ve been conned and the whole deal seems like a “bait and switch”, and the result was that we ended up paying almost 4 times the amount of the original price given to us. We didn’t even get any other estimates despite being contacted by other companies, because Edgar’s $75 price was within our price range ($65 to $100) and he was the first to come over. I am very disappointed and upset by this experience and want to make sure that nobody else falls into a similar trap.
