CABAN'S RENOVATIONS

He had quality materials which I liked, but he did not measure accurately and so there is a gap on the outside of the porch floor and next to one of the columns. The gaps expose the carrying beam. I do not understand how I did not notice the one on the inside of the porch. I will need to get 2 pieces of wood cut to size to fill them in. He said he takes the small jobs and gives a really good price so that the customer will hire him for the larger jobs.

After contacting Caban's, the job was spec'ed out, quoted and completed within a week's time; he finished both projects in two-and-a-half days (over Memorial Day Weekend, no less)! We received an easy-to-read line-item quote for the building materials prior to the start of the project which made the decision-making and budgeting process very easy. Ric (Caban) started on-time each day and also left the renovation areas neat at the end of each day to prevent injury. The carpentry for both projects is sturdy and sound. Ric was very pleasant and easygoing throughout the projects, which was great. We plan to ask him to come back to work on other projects around the house as they come up. This was a cash-only transaction; we provided the money up front to purchase the materials and then paid the balance upon completion of the project.

I met Ric thru a guy that I had coffee with in the morning at a local cafe. I was having termite problems and he suggested Ric. I can't say enough about the work that he has done. When building my patio room I wanted to save some money and he agreed to let me help him. He is very conservative in his work, always asking if we are happy with the progress and is there something we wanted to change. He has since done numerous jobs here and at my other house. He is very quick in what he does.
