The project went smoothly the entire time. David answered every question and every call promptly. He set the work up on the day we agreed upon, and was present on the site managing the entire project. We signed a contract which was a fair price for the condition of the roof and the amount of work involved. He reported all the issues and suggested reasonable solutions. We were so impressed with the quality of work performed and his experienced crew. He is a kind and thoughtful person. He was attentive to my elderly mother and her neighbors remarked about how hard the crew worked.

Dave came and looked at the space, and provided a very complete, detailed and fair estimate/quote for the work. He made several suggestions about how to make the bathroom seem more spacious (it is quite small). These included removing an existing door casing, routing the ventilation in the dead space under the flat roof, and moving the toilet location to the opposite wall. This is not a large distance but the difference is incredible. He recommended options for the fixtures and such, always giving us the ability to choose something else, but his recommendations were spot on.

Dave and his crew of Matt and Ryan showed up each day promptly at 8 as promised. Everything was clear about what they were doing, down to where in the driveway they would park. We have a dog, and they would often be at the house without my wife and I present - they were fine making sure the dog stayed inside, and I think befriended him a bit, So I was definitely comfortable leaving our dog with them, which meant we did not have to put him in daycare at all which would have gotten expensive! Every day they cleaned up and left everything neat and orderly.

Dave did a great job of making the new portion of the bathroom blend in with the existing tiled shower. Now you would think the whole room was done at the same time. There is a small steam radiator in the bathroom that was covered in multiple layers of hideous silver paint. Dave took it out and sandblasted it, and painted it white to match the rest of the room. The radiator has two raised flowers on it, as a decorative touch. Dave hand painted them and a border around the edge that matches the grey color of the floor tile. Plus he also went to great pains to modify some window casings and door casings so that they all were even and looked like they were always like that. Very impressive attention to detail.

Dave's answer to every question I had about them doing something - "I can do that!" - and he can.

Dave and Valco Construction will definitely be doing several more projects for me in the (near) future.

I recommend them in the highest regard.

Dave was very quick to respond, came over for a free estimate, and was able to schedule to fix within a week. It was in a very difficult spot to repair, up at the top of the house, but he was able to get it done safely. He also fastened done some other sections of the siding that were coming loose, so they wouldn't blow off in the future. I thought it was a fair price, and was happy with the results, I would use Dave again.

Dave Vallencourt and his crew were outstanding.  He did what others had told us could not be done.

He understood what we were going for.  The character and look of the building were kept.  He "got it".

The job turned out to be very tough as the structural integrity of the building had deteriorated more than we

had thought.  This was far more than a construction job - it included a lot of engineering knowledge.

The building is now solid and looks great.

Dave and his crew continued work through adverse weather conditions.  He is a man of his word and

is incredibly knowledgeable.

We will definitely use him again on other projects.

Dave initially did my roof. The only reason why I found out about him was through a friend. Dave does no advertising and is not on the internet, unfortunately. Dave's estimate for my roof was the lowest. (by $2000.00) He charged me 3900 for my roof and that was with the highest graded siding. Dave was done in less than a week. When Dave left even the dumpster was going while I was giving him the final check! I was so impressed with his work that I had him do my siding. His estimate was 15,500 which was 7000 less than any other estimate. Again Dave used the highest quality material which also included 1/2 inch foam insulation with a R value of 3. Dave again did an excellent job. Dave also did some work in my bathroom. He removed my sink, installled a vanity. He was only going to charge me $150.00 but I gave him $200.00 which I thought was more appropriate. Dave has all the state licenses and he will gladly show them to you. he is also insured.  I think this guy would be a lot busier if he advertised. Dave was very professional and if something doesn't look right he will tell you. For example the molding around my windows we bought he thought didn;t look right so he immediately stopped the job and informed me that the color that we ordered did not look right. Even though it was our fault, Dave corrected the problem free of charge. Awesome guy, I really think you'll be happy with his services.
