My Chimney Professional

Joe spent pretty much the entire day, ensuring that the chimney was tightly sealed right down to the flashing and the cricket. He also took the cap off (required sawing off rusted nails), sealed it tight and screwed it back onto the chimney with galvanized screws. I have photos of the work that was done.

Paul from My Chimney Professional was great! He and the company were very responsive and professional. Quote was reasonable and after I hired, Paul was in constant contact with me. The job was scheduled and was finished on time and with no issues. Job very well done! I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them!

Well except for delay between flue cleaning and cap repair.

We had multiple weather (safety) delays, but daily communication and coordination was superb. In short, he did the work as soon as it was safe to do it after we had scheduled a start date.

Paul did a very thorough initial inspection of the job, from the top of the chimney down to  the ground, from the roof, and inside of the house - viewing the chimney both from our fireplace (which we don't use - but Paul inspected it carefully anyway). He also went down to the basement and inspected the chimney connection to the oil burner.

He was professional in all respects. Answered all my questions, and offered advise only related to the job we wanted done.

We had three other vendors look at our chimney and all of them attempted to sell us things we did NOT need - all  of which Paul explained to us why we did not need them.

His integrity, skill in doing the job, preparation, and dealing with very significant impacts of several severe thunder storms, and use of a trainee who he made certain to introduce us to were all highly professional.

I wish he did all kinds of other work (he doesn't stray from what he knows...another sign of a smart professional)

I give him ten out of ten and recommend him to anyone needing more than a cleaning of their chimney.

We usually seek out 3 quotes for every project and, on this issue, there were a wide variety of opinions and prices, including one provider who wanted to tear down and rebuild our entire chimney. It is nice to know there are honest and knowledgable people like Paul in this business.

We have used Paul for six seasons. His work is impeccable, he is thorough, dependable, honest and very reasonably priced. He offers both cleaning and repair. So glad we found this provider.
