Mr. Doherty tolerated my "stupid questions" about the deck construction with ease. He was receptive to questions, and answered them all easily. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the deck construction. He knows what he's doing.

Jamie and team did an outstanding job installing all new windows into our home. They worked hard and completed the job on time. Jamie even came back after to address a small detail. They were on time and respectful of our property by cleaning up regularly. I highly recommend JP Doherty! We have hired them to replace our cedar plank siding this summer.

A 10-foot section of siding/flashing just below the roof line tore off in high winter winds. I contacted JP Doherty and quickly received an estimate for the repair work. Scheduling the work was challenging due to snow, freezing rain, etc. but as soon as conditions allowed, the JP team arrived and completed the repair work promptly and efficiently. Aside from weather challenges with the scheduling the roof was installed as promised and looks great. Was a pleasure dealing with them - always communicated what was going on, the work was done according to plan and the worksite was always clean. Work team was very professional and courteous.

I used JP Doherty to build a 16X 12 foot composite deck addition to my existing deck. The experience was the best I have had with projects on my house. He was professional throughout the whole project. He was very quick to come out to my home and get an estimate for the project. His price was very reasonable. He showed up when he said and completed the job ahead of schedule. He left the work area spotless and the deck looks amazing. We couldnt be happier with this experience. James is very professional and responds quickly to a call or email. Although my job wasn't big, James came out to look at the project, and explained my options. He was really good about letting me know if anything had changed (for example, he couldn't find the door locally and had to order it), and accommodated my schedule. During installation, he showed me and explained how my house happened to have non-standard measurements, and how he suggested handling it, but got my ok first. He and his co-worker were both very polite and pleasant to deal with. I would certainly use him again or recommend him to a friend or neighbor.

Did a great job repairing/replacing a lot of damaged corner boards, clapboards and trim. Easy to work with. Gave a honest and thorough estimate and was able to work within our budget. The job carried over a weekend and they were nice enough to leave 3 ladders of varying heights because they knew we were going to begin painting our house that Saturday. We have some additional projects coming up and will definitely look to use them again.
