Everything was excellent - very professional, punctional, clean, explained every detail to me and answered all my questions in language I could understand. Everything was outstanding from my initial call with the office - staff very pleasant and accomodating - to the first home visit to the installation and completion of the porject. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company without any hesitation.

The work was done perfectly. I called on a thursday afternoon as my kitchen sink was backing up. I was concerned it was a big problem as I could see what looked like sand coming up the garbage disposal. They came within a couple of hours of my call. He fixed the clog which was not as bad as I had anticipated. while repairing the clogged pipe he noticed that there was a small crack in the pipe. It was not leaking but he said needed to be tended to at some point. I told him to make arrangements for us to have that replaced.The office called me on monday morning to see if when would be convenient for me to get it fixed. They arrived a half hour later and was finished in about a half hour.

he did respond and tried to help out but said he couldn't help with filter /water softener problem and did not successfully by pass those units to improve water pressure. I am sure the price reflected an emergency fee but was pretty steep when compared to another guy who came out on Saturday and fixed the problem including resetting the filter and water softener and only charged $100 more.

"We strive to make sure that our customers are satisfied with the service we provide for them. We take it very seriously when someone is not happy. We wish that this customer would have contacted us directly so that we could have had the opportunity to work with them on a viable solution. The services plumbing contractors provide may vary by region. We do not sell or service water softener systems. Our local suppliers do not stock items needed for service and repair. We refer this kind of work out to companies that specialize in water treatment. We explained this to this customer, and offered to install bypass piping so that this resident of this rental property could have the use of water until the owner was able to get someone who could service the water softener system. We also talked to the resident who had no water at the time. It was agreed with the owner that we install the piping necessary to bypass the water softener system so that the resident could have water. We sent our plumber out to this location in less than perfect New England winter weather just a few hours from the original call. Our plumber installed the piping to bypass the water softener system, supplying water to the plumbing fixtures. We received this call on a Tuesday, and the customer states that it was Saturday before the softener system was repaired. We considered this job high priority because we don’t want to leave someone without water. We were unaware that this customer was unsatisfied with the service until we read this review. We would have liked the opportunity to work with them to correct the issues."

They called when they said they would, and were punctual within 20 minutes or so (not bad considering that it meant estimating when the current job would be done plus travel time.) Jerry, the founder of the business and father of the rest of the employees, was prompt and knowledgeable. He even instructed my husband how to unplug the tub drain by himself in the future! I will be using them again for future plumbing needs. I highly recommend them.

When I called them first, they were out almost immediately. They were terrific. No job is too big or too small for them. When we wanted to get a new toilet in our bathroom, they suggested a website that we could go and pick out what we wanted and said that they will order it and install it for us. They had to re plumb the water supply to put in the toilet and they did a fantastic job. It was very reasonable. They are just very responsive kind of people that are nice to have in our town, especially for plumbing. I have had sporadic need for their services and every time, they just come in, do it, and make me happy.

I really liked Stirling Plumbing Co, what happened is that I called and a woman took the information but I never heard from them because the next day when I called back, and I don't if it was the wife or what and she said "oh really, you didn't get a call. You know what he will call you back in 10 minutes" and then she hangs up. And then he was in my house within an hour and he did a good job. He was punctual, he explained what he was doing and the price was reasonable.

First they replaced the hot water heater, that went very well and we have had no problems since. So we called them back to install a faucet in our kitchen and water controls for our bath tub/shower. Again great job and no problems. We called them back to install two outdoor faucets and a T for the icemaker in our refrigerator, again great job no problems. Will definitely call them again when we need a plumber.

I live in a very large historic home with steam heat. They are the best. Their pries are very competitive. I've been using them for years and years and years. I don't have a reason not to use them.
