DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Where do I even begin with this. This is quite possible the worst experience that I have ever had with a company. I contracted Mr. Home to do some mold removal, remove old insulation, and install vents. While attempting to do these things they destroyed my bathroom ceiling, ventilation system, and bedroom ceiling. They tried to pull a fast one and just spray the mold and leave all the concentrations on the far ends of the attic where they were probably hoping I would not look. The jerk that came to look at the damages and job that was not done attempted to tell me that the mold was dead, and the wood was stained. This was not the case, I had Servpro come out and they tested the mold which was still alive, and they were able to scrub it all off (highly recommend Servpro). Their attempted fix of my bedroom ceiling that they ruined was to drive screws into an old piece of lumber that they found in the attic and slap a coat of paint on it. They did not even bother to sand it. They also destroyed my drop ceiling and left me with 4 ruined ceiling tiles. This cost me $200 to get fixed. I have attached pictures that I took after they left and said they were done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 1 star is too much.

Horrible. I lost a week of work waiting on them to do their job and on top of that, all they had was 3 sets of different guys come to my house to do an egress window. I had to babysit the employees for 2 days so they could do their job right. Never again would I hire this company. Now we just have to sit and wait and hope it does not leak water inside my basement and damage my sheetrock. I will not recommend them at all! Lazy!

This service was GREAT!!

The two-person crew worked hard and accomplished the contracted work in 3 days. Some details were overlooked -- noticed after "paid and gone."

My mother was dissatisfied with the quality of work. After several attempts to communicate with them they did come back to improve the job, thus the service rating. And now a year later, the crack is back again.

A representative of the company came overlooked the issue recommend the two solutions we went with the first one. Staff arrived did an awful job patching area where water was coming in from the first rain storm out the basement got more water than before. We called them back they came out a second time they were responsive smothered some stuff all over the wall left on the second rain storm we got even more water. I have not called him back.

Mr. Home did an excellent job rebuilding our chimney. We received two estimates on two rental properties we own. We hired them to do one. We are very happy with the work and the clean up also. We will be hiring them to do the other rental soon. We received a few estimates and Mr. Home prices was the best. Thank you so much.

They did a great job stabilizing and repairing my front porch. I look forward to working with them on some future projects

These guys did a great job They were very polite and great customer service when they left everything was neat and clean . I thought the price was pretty good.

We interviewed 3 companies and Mr Home immediately gave us a feeling of trust. They developed a plan with options and great pricing not to mention the excellent work completed in a timely professional manner. We highly recommended Mr Home!

This work was performed at my parents. The quality is beyond words, improper materials used and fire risk. The vent cap is designed for a vertical pipe not a side vented furnace. Instead of single horizontal pipe to connect pipe from house to cap, installer used two pivot pipes and rotated them horizontal. And on top of that, the expanding foam used was not fireproof for this application. We had a licensed HVAC company come to correct the excuse of a repair and is willing to sign a statement that the work presented a fire hazard, was not done to code, nor was there a permit pulled to perform the work.

Bill led me to believe more repair work was to be completed than was actually done. Does not return calls. The workers were great, but due to the untrustworthiness of Bill Sweeny cannot recommend, will never use him again.

Unfortunately for us, we hired MR. HOME the first time and it was one of the biggest mistakes of our lives. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY EVER. They left our basement even in an even worse state than when they began the work. Unfortunately, we should have done a better background check on these incompetent clowns. With a name like MR. HOME, you would think they would be real professionals... they are not, far from it. They did such a horrible job, they did not even come back for the difference that should have been owed to them had they done the job correctly. Luckily for my family and me, we found another company. Konstantin, Robert, Duma and the rest of their highly skilled crew are amazing at their craft and were able to pick up the Literal pieces of devastation the MR HORRIBLE HOME left behind. They are true professionals and provide excellent customer service. I will absolutely refer them to anyone I love... But if you hate someone, send them to MR. HORRIBLE HOME, THE OTHER COMPANY IS THE GREATEST. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN MR. HOME NO STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION.

Mr Home sent three guys who did the chimney pointing in one day. When they'd dismantled the chimney...they took care to move bird feeder and small sculpture in yard, as bricks might damage. They left with a perfect chimney and cap. Paid in full. Good considerate workers. Highly recommend!

Pricey but good service

Crew completed work quickly and professionally. Customer service was fantastic. The only issue I had was I feel it was a little more expensive than what our local estimates should be. And there was no cover placed over the gaping whole in our foundation. They did put a sheet of wood leaning against it, but it was nothing to keep out rain or rodents so. We had to fasten a tarp on our own. Other than that we had no issues and I would definitely hire for future projects!
