WELCH BROTHER'S CO INC

I have used Welch Brothers for plumbing services for years and always been very happy. Most recently, on a Friday evening before we were going on a trip to Mexico the next day, I noticed that out hot water heater was leaking. On Monday from Mexico, I contacted Welch Brothers and arranged for them to gain access to our house. They were extremely responsive and were concerned about preventing water damage in the basement and maintaining the security of our house. They replaced the water heater within 3 days. I am very grateful for their high quality service.

Great - it seemed like a simple job but it was a Kraus faucet and required a special tool. After some research and consultation, faucet was satisfactorily fixed.

They provide quality work at a reasonable price. The technician was fantastic.

The plumber came to my house at around 8:40 AM, about 20 minutes after I got the call saying someone was on their way. we was very professional and got to work right away on the broken pipe.
Fixing the pipe took longer than it could have, as he would make a cut, and then realize that he need to make another cut further down the element which made the previous 15 minutes a waste. This happened a few times. The cuts and the welding were high quality. All in all, it took about 3 hours to repair 5 holes in the element and test the system. I think the plumber was skilled enough to do it in 2 if he wanted to - oh well.
Next came the furnace pressure valve. This took him about 5 minutes. I think the valve was the most costly part of that, but my invoice did not have an itemized material list so I can't be sure.
Then he replaced a piece of pipe in the crawl space, this took probably about a half hour- very reasonable.
Cleanup took maybe 20 minutes, and then he had to call to get the final price. We waited for nearly an hour for the office to call back and finalize everything, which it turns out I was paying for. This rubs me the wrong way - my service was complete and I was paying to talk with the guy about tablets and home entertainment systems. I can do that for free any time!
Oh and they charge a huge premium for materials - $160 for some copper pipe and a valve
All in all I'm satisfied with the work, but this job should have been significantly less expensive.

The men were responsive and prompt. We were quickly relieved to find that the leak was not in the walls but due to a deteriorated wax seal and it was easily repaired. I know nothing about plumbing, so then asked them to check slow draining sinks, often clogging toilets, and noisy pipes when the washing machine is on. The men were so pleasant, patient, and happy to check each situation, explaining what was going on in each case. I especially appreciated their respectful attitude when listening to my concerns.
Our issues proved to be somewhat minor ones after all, fixed quickly and professionally, and I will certainly call them again when we do more extensive renovations.

They did a great job. They are very friendly and professional. I would not call anyone else.

The company arrived on-time, worked efficiently, and completed the work with no mess and correctly the first time.

Shane and Tony were very professional and efficient in replacing our water heater.

All they had to do was relight the hot water heater. The guy who came was very helpful and informative. I called other places and Welch had very reasonable pricing. I would use them again.
