We recently hired Palacio General Construction Inc for a dormer full bathroom addition on the 2nd floor of our cape style house. Walter and his crew were great throughout the entire process. Communication is key during any type of construction project and they were on top of communication through the entire project start to finish. All contractors were professional and courteous through-out the job - especially given the current pandemic we are all dealing with. I would highly recommend them.

We hired Palaico General Construction Inc. to take on the project of a complete renovation of our whole downstairs and it looks amazing! They did everything we wanted and they did it in a timely manner. The whole team was professional, hardworking and kind! Their attention to detail, knowledge of construction and our specific renovation project made us very comfortable and confident. Walter kept us update to date on each and every phase of the project. He was always available to us to answer our MANY questions or comments. He never made us feel like we were bothering him. Absolutely love the outcome of the place and no complaints. We pretty much had the whole downstairs redone to the floors, new kitchen, new walls, removal load bearing walls, paint, all the doors, new bathroom, cabinets, and even took some walls down and resized rooms. We have about 800 square foot of space in our downstairs and every square inch was touched by the Palaico team and it was completed in a timely manner. I highly recommend PGC and would not hesitate to use them for future projects. Save yourself some time and headaches and make Palaico General Construction Inc. your first call!

My experience working with Palacio General Construction was fantastic! They recently finished a kitchen and bathroom remodel for me and Iâ m so pleased with the final product. This was my first time hiring a GC and I was nervous because you hear all these horror stories. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about working with Walter and his crew. Walter was great to work with from the start. He answered all of my questions and offered helpful recommendations. He provided a complete and detailed estimate of the work up front and didnâ t deviate from it except when I decided to make a changes (added some small projects). So we were on budget for the original work quoted. Walterâ s team, including foreman Juan (who is Walterâ s brother) are polite, timely, talented and do a great job of keeping everything as clean as possible during the process. They all work very hard and extremely efficiently. I was incredible impressed with the progress made each day and the project completed on time. The subs PGC works with are all great too. I hired an electrician, plumber and painters through them. I also have two small dogs who were in the house during the work and they treated them very well which says a lot (in my opinion). Iâ d highly recommend Palacio General Construction and wouldnâ t hesitate to hire Walter again.

We used Palacio General Construction for a home improvement project last year. We created a master suite from an existing bedroom by adding a new bathroom and a closet to an unused portion of a room, and renovated an existing bathroom. We couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Palacio General Construction for similar projects. The owner, Walter Palacio, is an excellent communicator who takes the time to listen when discussing the project and the initial plans. He helped us talk through ideas and the feasibility of what we had in mind, and made common-sense recommendations to help us reach our goals and stay close to our budget. He was able to schedule a big chunk of work on our existing bathroom for while we were away on vacation for two weeks, so that we could return to a working shower and be able to live in the house during the remainder of the renovation. Walter's crews and subcontractors were courteous and showed up when they said they would, on time, and did excellent work. Notably, when something went wrong (as things do during these types of projects), Walter communicated clearly and was happy to make it right. He would tell us "I'd rather catch it now and make it right, than have you unhappy with the job." It was refreshing to work with someone committed to our satisfaction with the project. My only critique with the project was the communication about where we were in relation to the budget as the project got near the end. Walter and I discussed it and he adapted his approach to improve communication about budget throughout the project. I appreciated his commitment to improving his business and his communication, learning from our experience and making it better in the future. Finally, we decided to use Palacio General Construction on another project this Spring, painting our exterior, replacing trim and replacing two exterior doors. They again did an excellent job. It's difficult to give a better endorsement than giving repeat business.

We had a new front landing with stairs and a roof above it constructed by Walter Palacio and his crew. They were very professional and very easy to work with. They were always on time and exhibited a very great work ethic. We love the work they did and would never hesitate to call them again!

We hired Palacio Construction for replacement of front door with sidelights, multiple interior doors, tile floor, interior stair and baseboard replacement. Estimate/contract clearly written, excellent communication during the project. Job was completed on time as expected and improvements look great! We would hire again for future projects.

We hired Palacio Construction to complete a kitchen renovation that had been abandoned by our original contractor. Walter and his crew came in and picked up right where the project left off, including fixing a lot of the shoddy work that had already been done. They were prompt, friendly, hardworking, and their work was very high-quality. Walter did a great job managing expectations and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the job. He even followed up a couple of days after they finished to make sure we were happy with the work and to see if we had any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Palacio Construction and we will absolutely be hiring them again in the future!

I hired Palacio General Construction to install a vinyl deck railing on my porch. All I can say is that the final product exceeded my expectations. Walter and his crew were very accommodating and professional at all times. I would most certainly recommend Palacio General Construction to anyone looking to have work done at their home or business.

Walter Palacio was quick to respond to my repair need, which was urgent to repair stairs to our elevated deck. He came to scope the job, answer questions, and provide a quote. The work was done a few days later, both professionally, neatly and on budget. I would not hesitate to us him again.

Walter (and crew) patiently reviewed what was a very tricky situation for a sagging addition and proposed options to save it in the most cost-efficient manner possible. We decided for the royal treatment yet we didn’t pay an arm and a leg for the service. Plus, I can attest to the precision and worth ethic they exhibited. This was hard labor AND a difficult engineering task. Walter is good-natured, and extremely gifted in his talents. Plus, he consulted and recruited the right people to complement his skills so that the job was designed accurately, the right materials were ordered in the correct quantities, the sagging addition was carefully elevated to a level position, and the wall was tastefully constructed parallel to and in line with the deck. When the work was completed, I was in awe of what he had produced. He didn’t just fix a problem; he built a beautiful fortress in front of my house that my neighbors admire today and potential buyers (if/when I ever sell) are sure to value in the future.
