LABOR READY

This experience was horrible. I spoke with the Labor Ready rep well in advance of our move date and he assured me he would send me two experienced movers. He also said he'd confirm with the names the week of the move. I never heard from him again, but after calling two times I at least confirmed they were coming. The two men showed up an hour late. One reeked of alcohol, but he still seemed capable of doing the work. His colleague did not speak any English, which made it difficult for them to communicate, so the other one just cursed at him. At one point he was throwing boxes down the stairs. The sober worker was so fed up that he called the Labor Ready office and told them he wanted to be picked up. Someone drove over and talked him out of it, but at this point they knew we had a drunk worker, yet they did nothing to remedy it. If we hadn't been in a time crunch we would have sent them home, but we had to be out of the house that night so we were stuck. Overall, an awful experience.
