started in July finshed in December for a two week job
Promised to return in Spring to finish.
Paid 100% of the money. Never came to finish job.
Took him to small claims and received a judgement based on his default to appear.

JA Stonewall was a great builder and the wall looks really nice.  It is a large retaining wall holding the front yard up above the driveway.  He worked well with me on the drainage issues and hiding a sump pump pipe next to the wall.  The wall looks 10x better than the old cement block wall.  And the price was under 7k when other contractors were asking for 20-30k for the same wall.  I feel like I got a great wall at a great price!

Adriano's response was quick. He came out and we discussed what we wanted he gave us a quote on the spot. We agreed it was a reasonable price. He and his crew started this job within a couple of days. They were very hard working and professional and pleasant to deal with. They kept their equipment neatly on the site and when they were done, they cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend JA Stonewall Masonry and plan to use them again in the spring.

Their work was really good. They've done such a good job. They were very honest, very reliable and very hardworking. They completed all of the tasks within about seven or eight days period, which is very rare. They were the cheapest estimate that I got. Six months later they were standing up to the elements.

Within a week they were available and came and did the job quickly and efficiently in a single day. Renaldo and his crew were friendly and conscientious. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves and seemed genuinely concerned with my happiness about the work. Have tons more work to do and will definitely call them back. My only reservations and the reason they got B's instead of A's in a couple of categories is that the paperwork seemed overly simple and wouldn't be of much use in the event of a dispute and the price on the paper work was $100 higher than the verbal quote (however as soon as I pointed this out they corrected it). I only gave a B on the quality because durability is a big piece of that for masonry and obviously I have no insight into that yet.

It went fairly smoothly but the workers had multiple projects going on (in Watertown) so on certain days they would take a day off to finish other local projects. I didn't mind because I really wasn't in a rush to get the work done.

It was a job well done and completed in good time. I was promised 7 working days. It took about 14 working days to complete the job. Not bad at all. The workers were hardworking and polite and punctual. I would recommend them highly.
