We actually stopped calling them,because their installer is so incredibly rude.
2 weeks ago the burner failed again. On a Sunday evening. Murphy claims to have 24/7 service, which they don't. We called another plumber, which is outstanding.
The unit failing isn't their fault of course. It's just junk.
But, their level of service, lack of responsiveness, rudeness is unacceptable.
Today, the burner failed AGAIN. Different problem yet again.
Here comes the major issue though: it turnes out, they didn't install the unit to code. No idea how it passed inspection. But because of that, Burnham will no longer warranty the unit. We had $2700 in repairs, which should be under warranty, but for which we had to pay for.
We agreed on bid and 2 days later Dave and one of his people arrived just after the new steam boiler was delivered. They disconnected the old boiler and another crew arrived and removed it. Dave and his guy installed and tested the new steam boiler system - no problems. I fired the boiler up for a few hours a couple of days later and everything was great. Dave came back the next week for a follow up.
Overall assessment - TOP SHELF ALL THE WAY - without ???.
Would recommend without ???.
