It was great. I had been worried about my roof after last winter, and had been trying to contact roofers to come look at it to no avail(one guy strung me along, others said it'll be weeks, and others only replaced roofs).  With Paul I got a prompt response, a prompt appointment, he showed up early even!
He listened to my specific concerns, then went up and looked at everything, came back down after a while and told me I'm all set, nothing to fix. Gave me some recommendations for when the time comes, but didn't ask for any money or pressure me to do anything. He mainly wished me a pleasant day and left. I will definitely hold on to his business card for when the time comes that I need actual roof repair!

They were great.  They were fast.  They had a team of about eight guys.  They cleaned up and brought out a dumpster the next day.  The only down aspect of the entire experience was in the year or so after the roof went on; they guaranteed the roof we had a question about a spot on the roof; getting them to come back was hard.  One of the contractors father was dying so I'll give them a pass.

All went well. Paul was excellent in providing customer service. He dealt with all the issues of working with a condominium group very well. Our roof had numerous skylights, vents and other issues to deal with. In all, would highly recommend.

I became aware of Paul last winter when we needed our roof cleared off. He was incredibly responsive. As a result, I went back to him for a quote on a project that would be extensive. We wanted to tear off the roof over half our house in order to spray foam. He sent me a quote and even came back to meet with the insulators and my husband to discuss the extent of the project. The insulation company (Rogers Insulation) commented that he was the most cooperative roofer they've worked with. Paul kept in touch with Rogers and they coordinated the dates.
They explained what they were doing throughout and the process. They also gave us additional insight into how poorly the existing roof had been installed. Not as a sales pitch but more informative and the specifics of where corners were cut and quality of material.
It was that attention to detail that prompted us to hire Paul again to redo the shingles on the other half of the roof.
Coordinating with Paul was effortless and they protected the house and cleaned up as well.

We hired Constitution Contracting in July 2013 to replace a roof that was only six year old at the time. The roofer who installed that roof did shoddy work and used regular nails rather than galvanized steel nails to attached our shingles. Needless to say, we were getting water in our home in several locations. When Paul came out to our home, he explained exactly why we were experiencing the problems we were with our current roof, described his process and the quality of the products he recommended and assured us that he would stand behind his workmanship and the product. Paul was there to supervise on the day of the installation. He and his team were very thorough. They even cleaned up well afterwards (always appreciated). Paul was a pleasure to deal with and was always extremely professional and courteous. I waited until now (approximately 7 months later) to post my review because I wanted to feel confident that our recommendation was one that I could feel good about giving... and I do! Thank you Paul and Constitution Contracting!

Everything went very well. I found a slight problem after they left, so I called Paul. He had his guys out the very next day and fixed it to my satisfaction! I highly recommend Constitution Contracting.

I think last year's Halloween Hurricane (2012) initiated some small holes (approx. 5 quarter-size holes) on a steep pitch of our roof over the mudroom that starting leaking through the inside ceiling starting in the early Fall of this year. Paul was very responsive and came and assessed the problem within 15 minutes (during Thanksgiving week 2013). Paul repaired these holes for me and we haven't had an issue since. We live in a 100+ year old house and have worked with many service contractors on improvements and other issues; Paul is one of a kind and I highly recommend him for any roofing advice or needs.

Paul was great.  He was very easy to communicate with and arrived on time.  He was able to give an accurate estimate up front (which he stuck to) and also gave us an overall assessment of the roof's condition.  I would definitely use his services again in the future.

Paul and his crew did an excellent job replacing the roof to our home.  His crew was professional and quick to complete the work.  There was great supervision throughout and coordinating the different phases of the job.  Paul was very easy to speak with and discuss the different aspects and choices available for the project.  They did a great job with the cleanup and I would definitely recommend them for future work.

Paul and Dan at Constitution Contracting were wonderful.  They were always on time (or early) for appointments and work days; they spent as much time as I needed showing me samples of the product (rubber, vents, flashing materials) and answering questions.  The estimate was clearly itemized and directly in line with other bids.  They and their crew and subs (the crane operator that delivered the goods to the roof top!) did an amazing job working in the tight quarters of Somerville.  Very few issues popped up unexpectedly but they communicated quickly and resolved quickly.  The crew worked long days to protect the roof at each stage of removal and installation and they did a good job of cleaning up.  At my request, they did a great job documenting the different stages of the job with photos AND a video.  The job went smoothly and quickly with no problems at all.

Paul Trischitta was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.  He showed up on time during the estimate and bidding process and worked with us to reduce the scope of the work and therefore the price.  He recommended we further reduce the price by performing an infra-red scan of the roof to identify the problem areas so he could reduce the uncertainty built into his estimate.
Once the work started his team showed up on time and worked quickly to finish the job on schedule.  They were very flexible in terms of additional requests once the roof was off.  We took the opportunity to spray for insects and run internet and cable wires that are otherwise impossible to run on a flat roof, no-basement house.  I was impressed that they didn't charge extra for these last- minute changes.
We've had the new roof long enough that I'm convinced that all the leaking problems have been fixed.  Of course, judging a new roof is a long-term proposition so we'll have to wait to see how the PVC does over the long terms.  Based on a comparison between when we put on the rubber membrane (replacing tar and gravel) and having just  put on the PVC, I'm very happy we went with the PVC this time.
Overall, we enjoyed working with Paul and his team and would happily hire them again.

Paul Trischitta of Constitution Contracting was wonderful!
He was on time and extremely professional....and honest!
He replaced a flange on the bathroom vent pipe and charged a very modest price.
I then had other questions regarding other roof issues and he advised what I needed to do, but more importantly, what I didn't need.
He then let me know what repairs should be done and how to prioritize them.
I would highly recommend Constitution Contracting!

Overall my roof seems pretty good, no signs of any leaks as now, too soon to tell.
I first contacted Paul to get an estimate. Initially, his first estimate was around $9,500 and since I wanted to save some money, he worked with me through out the process to take things (aluminum flashing, etc.) off from the list that wasn't necessary to me. His next estimate was 7,600 along with Angie's List coupon, it came down to 7,200, and he started the job the following Friday and finished up the following morning.

Shingles had blown off of our roof and it was only going to be a few days before we expected heavy rain, so we had somewhat of an emergency.  We called Constituion Contracting on a Monday and received a return call within a matter of hours, an appointment was set up for the following day, first thing.  The crew was out there at 8:00 am, checked out the roof and replaced the shingles.  They also looked over the rest of the roof for any problem areas and explained that the reason the shingles may have blown off was because they had not been nailed down properly to begin with.

About a month before, as I was doing my research on roof materials and repair-- I started to call about 7 different roofing companies for quotes.  Constitution Construction (CC) was the third company I called.
Paul answered my call right away and set up an appointment the next day to see my roof for an estimate.  (He was the only one that was that prompt!)  Paul was on time and gave a brief overview.  He even took the time to come inside my home to view my roof concerns raised by my home inspection.  He quickly reassured me that all issues could be repaired.
On a mild day in December, Paul and his crew arrived early again ready for the roof repair

The experience was good and nothing was bad. The promptness in replying to requests was excellent and the quality of work was also excellent. I had two small questions about the work when it was done and everything was answered or taken care of right away. I decided on them because of cost and quality of service. I would absolutely use them again if needed.

Paul?s team did a great job and worked tirelessly for 3 days, giving us a fantastic new white roof, which should cool the house down considerably next summer compared to the scorching black surface from before. They finished on time and the workmanship was top rate. They also built a new entrance cover and wrapped the chimney in white membrane too. After looking around for IB roof specialists (there aren't?t many), Paul gave us the best price and also offered us thicker and higher quality materials. Paul?s team were very friendly and great guys to deal with. During the construction, I asked if they could install some ventilation outlets for my kitchen and bathroom and they installed them exactly where I wanted them. Overall it was a great and stress free experience working with Constitution Contracting. Thank you.

Paul was great to deal with.  He answered my questions during our initial discussion and the job went just as he said it would.
The crew arrived on time and were pleasant to work with.  They did the entire job in 1 day.  The roof looks great.  Importantly, they cleaned up well.  They took the time to rake the bushes and yard and even swept the work dust out of the attic.
It's hard to exceed my expectations, but these folks did.
I highly recommend them.

Paul promptly returned my call.  He came out and told me what was realistic and gave me a reasonable price. He and his crew were professional and cleaned up properly.  The job was finished quicker than anticipated.
The only negative was that a fair amount of old roof debris fell between the roof boards into the attic.  Most of my belongings were in bags or boxes, but not all.  A warning would have appreciated.
I would actually rate the experience a B+

I was very unhappy that I had a leak in our new roof and couldn't contact the contractor who did the work.  I consulted Angie's List and got the name of 3 contractors.  Paul of Constitution Contracting promptly returned my call and set up an appointment to see the roof that fit my schedule.  He check out various issues that could have contributed to the leak and we selected the most likely cause.  He fixed it during the initial visit and all has been good.
