Jude is extremely passionate about his work, and it is evident in every aspect of the work he does refurbishing pianos. We learned a lot about what goes into this-and are aware of the high level of workmanship and skill that is needed to do this work well. Jude possesses these skills in abundance!

After a thorough inspection of the piano in its original condition, he provided a detailed quote, including options to consider in the restoration process. As with any other unpredictable restoration project, the work started a little later and finished a little later than we may have hoped, though still within expectations. We were kept informed throughout the process and consulted on restoration decisions. After the piano was returned, he also came out to ensure we were happy with the final product. We (and our local piano technician) were very pleased with the results.

Fine, uneventful. Technician tuned all keys and seemed meticulous about the sound of each key and each octave. Cleaned the keys and all parts of piano that required it. Very professional and answered all my questions (not that many). Even tried to do research on the genealogy of the piano. Very interesting.

The owner, Jude Reveley, stopped by to check out the piano before giving us a quote. He brought a small bag of specialized tools and checked out the piano like a doctor making a house call. The work was scheduled a few weeks later and a talented young man by the name of Timothy Preston came to the house. He arrived right on time at 7:30 am and completed the detailed work before noon. We had the piano tuned as a birthday gift for my mom and she was thrilled with the results. (I rely on her judgment because I know absolutely nothing about pianos!)
