Jeff and Mike did an incredible job in renovating our kitchen and finished details on our adjacent living room. Jeff helped us get the design just right for what we were looking for. His proposal was in the midrange and we went with him as he did previous work for us and we knew we could trust him to do a great job. He steered us toward reputable companies for the countertops and cabinets and they are gorgeous. All the subcontractors worked hard and their work was done on schedule.
Mike, Jeff's brother, was the person who did all the work except the electrical, etc. He was very punctual about arriving on time. He cleaned up the rooms immaculately every day after finishing. He is a perfectionist and this showed in his attention to detail in all the work. He is absolutely the best in making sure everything was done properly and to our satisfaction. He was always a pleasure to have around. This was very important to us as the kitchen is in the middle of the house and we had to share space with him.
We had a wall dividing the kitchen from the living room and Jeff suggested we remove the wall and open the kitchen to the living room. We went with that idea and it has created a spectacular space.
Jeff gave us a timeframe of two months. They started right on time and finished exactly on time.
We definitely would use Jeff and crew again and are already thinking of future projects for his team. I would highly recommend ZS Corp to anyone who wants a fair price and an amazing job.

They did a fine job. They did it when they said they would. They went to extra lengths to find shingles that would match because the shingles that I had used were no longer available. They cleaned up well too. I thought it was a reasonable price for what they had to do because it was a difficult job.

In comparison to the several contractors and repairmen we have retained over the years, Jeff and his crew stand out. Jeff, the contractor, is a talented designer. He and his crew are honest, professional, skilled, hard-working men who clearly take pride in their work. All of their work was done to our satisfaction. In the few instances where things went amiss, they willingly made the needed changes. When problems arose with one of the sub-contractors, they stood behind us in arguing for a do-over. The flat roof, in particular, presented an exceptional problem because (a) several layers of previous construction had to be demolished, and (b) there was no tarp large enough to cover it during its reconstruction. The men solved this by painstakingly rolling off one layer of the old roof in the morning, then rolling it back on at the end of the day and securing it all around the perimeter in case it rained during the night. We didn’t believe that this would be doable, but they proved us wrong.
Jeff, Mike, Jim, Eric, and Brian are a pleasure to work with. We never felt uncomfortable having them working in or around the house. It may seem odd to say that we missed them when they left, but in a way, we did. They arrived on schedule, went about their work day, and cleaned all of the work areas before they departed. During all three projects, we requested numerous "while you're here" jobs, all of which they took on without complaining. In addition, because access to the main work area was across an established lawn and garden, they willingly and cheerfully went out of their way to minimize the damage to plants and lawn.
The cost, we believe, was fair. While we probably could have had the work done more cheaply, we’ve learned from past experience that that rarely pays. We wanted this work to be done right and that’s exactly what we got. (As one small example, we came across Mike at one point, carefully re-working a slightly flawed area that we never would have noticed. It took him more than an hour to finish it.) This is a company that you can count on for quality work.

ZS Corporation is a design build firm, which is the reason we asked to get an estimate from them. Jeff came over to speak with us promptly and took photos and measurements while he was there. He gave us preliminary drawings for the design phase without charging us money for the time and labor upfront. We worked with him to come up with a design we were happy with. Not until then, did Jeff ask us for a payment. Jeff's crew was delayed by the weather, which wasn't their fault. Once they started, they were on the job every day until it was finished. It took them only four months for all the work. There was unforeseen items (such as replacing part of the existing house sill, which they also did). The crew cleaned up the site every day before leaving. Jeff kept in nearly daily contact with us regarding any outstanding issues and questions that we had, along with discussing prices and timeframes on additional work we had them do. They billed us according to the schedule on the contract we signed. All the subcontractors were pleasant and professional. We always felt comfortable having them on the property. They also cleaned up after their work was complete each day. Jeff was always willing to meet with us promptly to discuss open items and changes they we wanted. We couldn't be happier with our experience with ZS Corporation, and have no compunction in recommending them as a design build firm.

Jeff and his crew were outstanding. Start to finish, everything was conducted professionally. I check more than 10 of Jeff's references and I visited many of his previous job sites. All the work was impeccable and his clients had great things to say about the company. Jeff provided a detailed estimate and executed all work in accordance with the contract. He clearly communicated start dates, schedule, staffing, and deliveries. His crew took great lengths to make sure the job site was clean and safe each night. Additionally, Jeff was proactive about discussing scope modifications and change orders (e.g. rotten sills and existing framing, re-flashing chimney, replacing existing doors). Jeff clearly explained cost and credits for changes, offered solutions, and took steps to make sure the work was done properly. It was a pleasure working with Jeff and his crew. The final product and the experience were top notch and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Your search for a great, honest quality driven builder/remodeler is over. I was referred to ZS Corp from a window replacement company I had used. I had about 5 bids on my proposed addition. ZS Corp was not the cheapest bid but Jeff was willing to work very hard to get my project within my budget. I checked all of ZS's references, 12 in total. Start to finish( Sept-April) Jeff's crew was on time and on site pretty much every day. His crew is extremely respectful and clean (floors swept, tools packed away every night, lumber neatly stacked out of the way and covered.) This was especially appreciated because I was living in the home while the construction was ongoing. If you have a building project you should contact this family run business. You won't find better quality workmanship from the carpenters they take great pride in their work and it shows.
