Neufell Tree & Landscape

We had several very large pine trees knocked down and damaged from a severe thunderstorm and winds, and needed them removed quickly since some were still partially held up and could have fallen on our back fence. Any of the trees would have hit our house and done a lot of damage if they fell in that direction. We contacted a few tree removal companies, and Tim came out the next day to look at the situation and was able to fit us into his schedule within a few days to do the work. We picked Neufell Tree & Landscape out of the other tree removal companies because Tim had the best plan for how to remove the fallen/broken trees and a few others that were a danger of falling in the future, and at a reasonable price. We're glad we did because they did an excellent job. The crew worked hard, was pretty quick for the amount of tree removal work they did, and was able to precisely take down the large pine trees in the directions where they wanted to, without any falling near our house or fence (which was a concern of ours with at least one very large broken tree trunk suspended over our fence after the storm). Tim was great to discuss the project and future potential landscaping projects with. At least 3 of our neighbors hired them later to remove storm damaged and other trees on their properties, and were happy with the work as well. We plan to hire them again for any future tree projects as well as other landscaping.

Great! They also pruned some tall overgrown bushes while they were up in the bucket.

Tim is a great guy and as owner/operator will be on site to perform the job. We have used Tim at least 4 times over the past several years and he has been great to deal with. He is also able to count on a network of others to problem solve given the situation (bucket trucket vs crane vs tree climbing vs needing to have logs removed vs stump grinding). He has become a trusted partner and has expanded his capabilities over the years.

I had this job quoted by 2 other tree companies, but Neufell Tree & Landscape were the only ones willing to do the complete job. They took down the fence, cut down, cut up and removed the trees, and put the fence back up.

Lead climber was excellent, got lots done almost single-handedly.

I would highly recommend this company. Tim was extremely responsive to my messages and the crew arrived exactly when they were supposed to. They worked fast and cleaned up so well you would never know they were there. The price was fair as well. Definitely would hire again.

Great. The dogs love it, Tim's crew were professional and did a great job clearing what was a messy area. We've used him for several years for small jobs and am always happy with his work.

Tim did a great job.   Took down 8 trees.  Brought in loam and reseeded yard where damage occurred during the job.  Grass grew in beautifully. 
Tim very professional, punctual, and thorough.  A pleasure to work with.  His bid was second to none.  Best price out of 10 vendors that I got estimates from.

We had contacted Neufell Tree and Landscaping in the summer to estimate the cost of cutting trees in the backyard which was overgrown and on a hill and also to cut some trees along the driveway and branches hanging over
wires.
The estimate was done on the spot. We waited until the fall to contact
him to get the work done.He and his crew came and went over the work again
before they started.
The work was done in the time estimated. The tree branches
were all cleaned up with the chipper.The logs from the driveway were removed.
They even used a blower to clean up the remains of the chipping and lots of
fallen leaves.
One branch over the wires was missed but they came back the
next day to finish.
They were very courteous, professional and reasonably
priced.

The tree was planted late (November 10) and they discovered lots of cement blocks buried in the area and had to remove them before planting the tree.  We had lots of snow during the winter and two blizzards.  I was sure the tree would die but it lives!

Very professional and efficient crew! Tim was friendly, on time and reasonable.

Tim, the owner, was great from the initial contact. Although a little late for the estimate due to having too many projects he still came within a reasonable time. Despite being very busy there wasn't a rush to get in, quote, and get out. We walked the property and discussed best options for the trees that had to be removed, which trees had to come down, and which should stay. He provided me the estimate on site and I agreed to have the work scheduled.
 The day of the project Tim and his small crew and equipment arrived early and went over the plan one final time before proceeding. For this project all the right equipment was there: bucket truckers, large chippers, dump trucks and a madman who climbs the trees to cut them down. Overall they worked steady throughout the day and made great progress, including wrangling up a log truck to remove the large trees. Tim and his crew did return the next day for a few hours for a final clean up and did not charge me any extra. Overall it was a great experience, and as a bonus Tim actually cleared a wildly overgrown part of the land that had some nasty vines and poison ivy. I had mentioned how much work that it would take me to get it done so he just took care of it. I couldn't be happier with it.
Finally, a little bit of mess left behind and some tracks in the yard, but I expected that to happen and is really a minor fix. It didn't affect my rating of the provider, they did excellent work.
