CHERRY STONE FURNITURE

Showroom staff in Lexington, MA were very professional and helpful and willing to bargain that resulted in a reduced price for us. We put deposit down in April/May of 2013 for delivery in June 2013. Furniture arrived as promised and was beautiful. In late September/early October we noticed a small crack developing in the headboard of the bed. Two weeks later, the crack expanded significantly. I contacted Cherrystone and explained the problem. I was asked to photograph the defect and send a photo. Cherrystone immediately agreed to replace the headboard, which needed to be custom-made by their supplier. I was told I could expect it around January 22; I received it January 31. Between the time we purchased the bed and now, we moved from the town in which the showroom is located. Cherrystone was unable to deliver the replacement to me. Due to the size of the headboard, I needed to rent a van to pick up the product. The cost of the U-Haul van and gas was about $100. I asked one of the owners if he could reimburse me the costs that I incurred, and he refused. However, he gave me a gift card toward a future purchase in the amount of $100.
