 + 2 moreI know we are like many customers who shop at Wilson's at least once a week and we're always satisfied. Some examples of the Wilson experience: When we make our annual trip to purchase a Christmas tree the Wilson customer rep will cheerfully spend hours with us, showing us different trees until we find just the and quot;right one.and quot; When my parents.died I ordered funeral arrangements through the Wilson flower department. I met with the florist ,who asked me what I wanted, made helpful suggestions, and was very sympathetic.. The total cost was very reasonable, significantly less than I would have been charged by other florists. The floral arrangements were spectacular. While they sell arrangements for special occaisions,, the florists are happy to consult and make suggestions when we buy cut flowers. Every weekend they offer free food samples and activities. Special activities are often for children, and the Wilson staff are always patient and kind with our grandchildren. The children are allowed to visit one of the barns in back where there are chickens, llamas, pigs, and calves. The biggest negative about the Wilson's shopping experience is that it is often very crowded. Unless you get there early AM or late in the day, you may need to wait to get in. Two parking lots are often full on weekends, and during holidays they hire traffic directors. During those busy times you will spend a lot of time waiting in check-out lines. The other possible negative is that you always end up buying more than you planned. Everything is displayed so attractively and free samples taste so good that you spend more.
Description of Work: Wilson Farms sells plants, garden flowers and supplies, fruits and vegetables, cheese, cut flowers, holiday decorations such as pumpkins and Christmas trees. There is also a bakery where they daily cook bread, cakes, cookies, muffins, pies. Their kitchen produces a wide variety of take-out meals. A meat section offers fresh chickens and other meats. Wilson Farms produce and products are always fresh and displayed beautifully. They charge top dollar however the food tastes so fresh and good that it's worth it. You can find many unusual fruits and vegetables. They offer a wide variety of fresh cut flowers that are very reasonably priced. The entire Wilson's staff are very customer oriented (see examples below). If you ask where to find a product they don't just give you directions, they walk with you over to the items. They are very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. They are polite to each other, are always smiling, and work as a team.

 + 2 moreIt's clear that all Wilsons employees are schooled in customer service. When I ask for help in finding an item, the Wislons associate will take me to the item, rather than just telling me where to look. When I've ordered special occaision flowers and baked goods I have met with the baker for floral designer and carefully explained exactly what I want and I've never been disappointed. When we go to Wilsons to purchase our Christmas tree the associate is endlessly patient while I search for the and quot; perfectand quot; tree, even when other customers are waiting. As you can imagine, Wilsons is a very large operation, not a little farm stand. They are hugely poplular with locals and it's best to arrive early on weekends in order to avoid the crowds and find a parking spot.
Description of Work: Wilson's is a family-owned business that sells fresh fruit, vegetables eggs,, plants, cut flowers and floral arrangements and much more. It also includes a bakery that sells freshly baked bread, pastires, bagels,cakes and pies. There is a cheese shop with a wide variety of cheeses.. Wilson's also cooks and sells prepared meals (take-out) and soups to go. My husband and I go to Wilson's every Sunday for our weekly supply of fruits, vegetables, baked goods and flowers. In the past I've ordered floral arrangements for family funerals and they have been outstanding, cost was significantly less than what we would have paid other florists. We've also ordered special occaision cakes and cupcakes and, again, the cost was reasonable. Eggs are fresh from hens on site. On the weekends they serve free samples of seasonal dishes. There are often weekend activities for families and children such as hayrides, Halloween haunted house, visits with farm animals.

 + -1 moreThey can do anything and they are very talented. They have lots of pictures of past work and they are very accommodating. The cakes are delicious. I have used them to buy cakes for kid's parties. I will give them an "A" on everything.

Description of Work: This farm produces fresh produce, flowers and more. I have purchased flowers, plants and produce from them. They also ship gift packages of these products as well and it's fresh and delicious.
