Santo and his team arrived on time with a large backhoe, and dug down under the driveway and the lawn to the street, removed the old broken sewer pipe, and put in a new one in one day. They were very highly skilled at their job. There was minimal disruption of septic service (a few hours at most). They put in gravel on top of the pipe, put in dirt, filled the driveway section with tar, and smoothed over the lawn section. They did not provide finish landscaping. We had to do that separately with another contractor.

 The workers are the best we have ever worked with. David who is the boss is always easy and fun to work with and offers good suggestions. The work went very well even though we had some snow to slow things down. The crew cleaned up every night.  We have had David Santo as our contractor since 1984 when he added an addition to our home.  In the ensuing years David has replaced windows, renovated a kitchen, and installed a new water line.  Just this past year we renovated our back porch/deck.  We have paid a lot for this work but have always felt we have gotten our money's worth.  Nothing has ever gone wrong with any work David and his men have done. The work is of the highest quality as are the men! Our original addition is now 30 years old and we are as happy with it today as when it was first built.  We trust David explicitly!! We love working with David!!

The main water pipe in my house required emergency replacement. One contractor demanded more than $6,000 for the work. Another one said that, because the water and sewage pipes were very close, he couldn't replace just the water one and requested about $12,000 for replacing both. David managed to replace the water pipe without damaging the sewer one for a much lower price. He handled all the formalities with the town, and the work was done quickly and with high quality. I am glad I chose Santo Construction.

If I could give them an A+ I would! David and his team were exceptional. We had a major project done where they laid a new sewer line from within our basement, digging under the basement floor and out the house under the front yard to the middle of the street where it connected to the city. The team did an amazing job keeping the digging to a minimum. Our newly landscaped yard looked like they had never been there (minus the grass where they dug). I was so impressed with their respectfulness, professionalism and kindness and really appreciated how clean they left the site when they were finished.

The project was quite complicated, with many parties and tricky situations involved. David was amazing throughout the whole process, keeping the landowners, town, and neighbors in balance and informed. He and his crew were very professional, showing up on time every day, and tidying up before leaving for the evening. David also held his to his original estimate, even though we ran into many additional situations where overages could have been applied. I would recommend David Santo to anyone, and will certainly use him again in the future for our planned bathroom remodeling.
