They were the only one accepted to come on Saturday evening to fix it on the urgent basis. Very professional in explaining the cost for the urgent work. Done the work quickly and gave discount based on the work done. Also guided for the future electrical work.

Brian Rayne is an excellent electrician; he and his crew is very professional and punctual. We hired Brian to install fan and light fixtures, he completed the job in a very reasonable time frame with good price. Will hire him again.

Absolutely great!   We have a very old house - no chase lines - and needed a new higher voltage line run from basement to 3rd floor.  If you have an old house, you know this means some new holes throughout (and that's if you're lucky).

Brian worked miracles -- ran the line without any demolition (he says he got lucky, but I had another electrician here for the same job a few weeks back, and they said it wasn't even possible with demo - but that's another story).

Very knowledgeable and professional - smartest electrician around, I'm convinced.   Wish all the contractors were like this one.

Brian was very professional.  Before agreeing to have him do the work we got three quotes.  And while Brian was not the highest or lowest, he was right in the ballpark and seemed to be the most professional.
Another top provider in the area, who has good reviews failed to show up to give a quote twice, and then randomly showed up another day and then never provided a quote.  Another top provider while professional, gave us a quote that was substantially higher than the rest.
Brian was very responsive, and reasonably priced.  I never had a doubt that he would complete the job as promised and in the end he also did great work.

During the bidding process while I was trying to figure out the trade-offs between various features, technologies, and cost Brian was helpful, knowledgeable, and very tolerant of my asking lots of detailed questions.  He referred me to a store where I could look at all the fixtures we were considering so we could understand exactly what we'd get.
During the installation Brian appeared to be completely competent.  He took the time to do the work properly, was not rushed even when things took longer than expected, and cleaned up afterwards.  When the dimmer he'd purchased didn't work with the fixtures he got the right dimmer and finished the job with no problem.  He was personable, relaxed, and easy to work with.
We're completely happy with the installation and the fixtures we selected with his help, and they perform exactly as he said they would.  All in all I couldn't ask for a better experience.  I'd definitely call him for any type of electrical work I might need in the future.

Brian was an absolute pleasure to work with.  He came when promised, did the work well and quickly. He was very good in answering all my questions and suggested the best options for my house.  Even during bad weather, he still was very positive and completed the work outside. I would highly recommend using him and would be very happy to work with him in the future.

Bryan was great.
We worked with Bryan in 2 distinct phases: planning, doing the work,
In the planning phase, Bryan was very engaged in the discussion. He listened to what we wanted to do and was able to make suggestions to best execute our requests when it came to lighting, outlets, and wiring.
When doing the work, Bryan was always on time, and finished well ahead of plan. The challenge with all our home improvement projects is the age of our home, built in 1920. After demo, there are always surprises, especially with the electrical & plumbing. This project was no different, and Bryan was able to work through those challenges that both directly and indirectly impacted the electrical work.
The end product was perfectly executed.
One final note - we did not know the price since he was a subcontractor to our Contractor. But, we've since asked Bryan back to help with a quick fix, which, because it was so small he offered to do at no cost.
We will use Bryan as my primary electrician for all future projects.

Brian came to the house to install a transfer switch and an outside power outlet for our portable generator.
He was punctual and very professional.
Once everything was done, he made sure our new portable generator was properly working and he walked me through a simulated power outage. He switched off the main power source to the house and walked me through all the steps on what I needed to do on the transfer switch and how to turn the generator on. We walked through the house to make sure all the circuits on the power switch worked as they were supposed to.
He cleaned everything after he was done and volunteered to look at my electrical inspection to see if something needed looking into (something I brough up on a previous conversation with him). He also replaced a non-working socket. He only charged me for the installation of the transfer switch and not for the extra work he did.
I am very happy with his services and I would recommend him to friends and family.

This is the second time Brian has provided services. Both times he was responsive, professional and thorough in his work. He provided key information about what was being installed and made sure I could handle any changes in the settings. He offered to be available over the phone if I needed help or had questions in the future..

We decided to remodel my mothers bathroom on the 2nd floor of her house & didn't want to use a general contractor b/c it was " just a bathroom" & we figured we could do it our selves. Rayne Electric had done some work at our house in the past & were very happy, so we new we would use them again for my mothers house. What we didn't realize, was that we would quickly be in over our heads with the remodel. Brian not only did a great job on the electrical but he helped us through the entire process & helped find the subs necessary to complete our job. My mother is very happy with the finish product & thankful that Rayne Electric did such a great job & were willing to share there overall construction knowledge with us. Next time we will just use them as our GC.

Rayne Electric completed the upgrade in a proficient time and manner. This project was not easy, both tenants were living in the units during the upgrade, but Rayne Electric managed to complete the project with being flexible with the tenants and phasing the project out. They where on time, clean, and understanding of the situation. Not to mention, the price was very reasonable, for the work that was done. I had quoted the project out, and Rayne electric can in right in my price range. In addition, the workmanship was impeccable. Removing Knob and tubing is not an easy task, but they were clean and thorough, making sure that every circuit was looked at. Over all, i was very impressed with the service from Rayne Electric, they were on time, they knew what they were doing and the price was right. I would defiantly use them again, and recommend them to anyone.

Brian is a remarkable professional.  As an avid do it yourselfer, I sometimes get over my head, and when dealing with electricity, you need the pros - and that is when I call Brian.  Brian helped me diagnose the problem over the phone, and ended up coming over to undo my errant work.  He is knowledgable, courteous, quick and accurate.  His pricing is fair, particularly for quality work.  Brian is now on my speed dial.  Highly recommended.

We had a patio installed and I wanted outlets and wiring for lights to be installed.  I needed the work to be done quickly and I found Brian on Angie's list and he had great ratings.  I called him and he was VERY prompt and came to give an estimate and actually provided an estimate the same day (PDF via email).  I've never seen such great communication from an electrician. Brian came in and did the job perfectly - he was very neat, and did his job well.  I've used a few electricians before but none are as dependable or prompt as Brian.

I highly recommend his services.  Also, he's pretty good with sending emails and quotes via email - you'd be surprised how nice it is to have an electrician know how to use email and provide great communication.  I will be using his services in the future.

I bought a townhouse in Dracut about 2 years ago, which needed a lot of tlc. After painting the entire house I decided to replace all the outlets, switches, and face plates. As a new homeowner I did the expected and did it myself. After I had finished I realized that not all my switches were working and no electricity at all was going to my bedroom. After much double checking by me and my hired helpers "friends", we were able to fix everything except the power in the bedroom. Several phone calls and visits by various friends and my dad, I still had no power. I finally decided to bite the bullet and call in a pro. One of my contractor buddies suggested calling Rayne Electric. I called and spoke with Brian, he listened to my problem. He asked me some very basic questions about 3 way switches or gfi outlets I might have replaced. When we were unable to pin point the root of the problem. Brian said he was finishing another job but he would be over in about 2 hours. I had been promised times and disappointed all week by delivery companies and the cable company. So needless to say I was not optimistic. To my surprise he was here right when he said he would be. He came in introduced himself and ask me to give him a run down of what I had done. He plugged a vacuum into one of the dead outlets in the bedroom and flicked the switch for the downstairs closet. The vacuum kicked on, seriously he was here for not even 5 mins. I have been trying to figure it out all week. He informed me the travelers were wired backwards. The whole repair took about 15 mins. He also informed me that one of my circuits on my panel was double wired, this was something my home inspector should have noticed and told me about. I thanked Brian for his promptness and professionalism and I was ready to move in. A few months ago I bought a flat screen tv. Thinking about what mounting the tv would take (new outlets, snaking wires, and mounting the tv). It looked like a two person job, so once again I called Brian at Rayne electric. I told him I was getting out of work in an hour, he asked me if I had already bought an hdmi cable. I told him not yet, he told me to go to best buy and pick one up and he would meet me at my house. He was in the parking lot when I pulled in. 45mins later I had a flat screen tv mounted on my wall. He even helped adjust the color and picture settings. Brian always goes above and beyond. He is now the only person i will call. I would recommend anyone looking for an awesome electrician.. Call Brian at Rayne Electric.

Brian was able to squeeze in a ceiling fan within an inch of the ceiling beams and it looks and works perfect. I was a bit unsure of what I wanted to do in our family room with exposed beams but, Brian had some really great ideas on what would work well and be aesthetically pleasing at the same time. Over all everything came out great, I am more then happy with the results and would certainly recommend Rayne Electric to anyone who is looking for someone who is easy to work with and very professional. His prices were competitive then many of the quotes I received. I have also recommended him to friends and family as well.

My dish washer and sink motor was not working for a week and I was forced to call an electrician. After seeing the reviews in Angies list, I gave him a call and he was at my house the same day. He immediately found that the problem was a loose wiring on the main electrical panel. But more than the service, he was very nice to deal with. There was also an issue with the check that I had given him and he was very understanding and cool about it. Will definitely call him again.

Email and phone communication with Brian was easy. He is extremely professional and polite. We bought the fan and wall plates ahead of time. He brought an extra person along to help the day of the installations. They did the work well and everything looks great. He even threw in a wall switch he had because it was exactly the type we wanted but didn't have.
