It took a couple contacts to get the arborist to tag the appropriate trees for removal (a rule for our neighborhood approval), but once that was all set, it went well. Their crew on the actual work day was smaller than expected (due to illness, they said), so they had to leave some large tree trunk sections and come back another day to remove them. They also had to come back because they forgot to remove a large hanging branch that was in the quote. We live in a heavily wooded area, so it is sometimes hard to identify all the specified trees and branches unless the arborist who did the original quote is present in person (he wasn't there the day of the actual work). The crew members were friendly and were careful using our neighbor's driveway to access some of our trees. Overall, happy with the service and would probably use them again (though not a certainty).

No issues at all. It went smoothly and they came when expected and I was contacted afterward to ensure I was satisfied with the work.

The company was very responsive, came out quickly to give me an estimate. We had some difficulty setting up the appointment for the service partly because our needs changed twice due to neighbors changing their mind. Foti was totally flexible and gave me 2 other estimates. All 3 estimates were below (and in one case way below) the 2 other estimates I got from their competitors. When the work was scheduled, they were on time, very professional, very courteous and friendly and did a perfect job.

Worth the money because we needed a large crane to remove the trees.

We needed to screen our yard after the sudden appearance of a very large house next door. At least two trees were needed, one to lengthen a 20 foot tall hedge of variegated color evergreens and another to stand alone and provide both interest and cover. Matt was extremely helpful proposing  the right kinds of trees and patient with our repeated questions and visits to his nurseries to view and think over specimens he had recommended.  He was also very good finding us trees that were already big enough to answer our need, attractive, hardy and, very important, affordable.
On the day of installation, his crew first dug out and trucked away the huge stump and root system of a 40 foot Norway Maple we?d had removed the prior year.  It was a big job to do in a small area without ripping up our small driveway and it was done
with skill.  The crew  were very patient and attentive to my fussy instructions on placing and orienting the trees they planted.  I asked for one of the trees to be planted well above grade in lawn I planned to re-grade later.  They brought 8 yards of loam, built a small rise, and located it perfectly.
In following months, I followed Matt?s watering instructions carefully, eager to protect the investment.That the newly-planted trees survived the following winter beautifully when drastic temperature variations in Eastern Massachusetts killed so many trees and bushes (including others of mine) I attribute to the high quality of Matt?s trees, the expertise of his crew in handling and planting them and the emphasis he put on regular watering.  Now, two years later, the trees are growing well and in excellent health.
If I?m able to buy more large trees again, I will get them from Matt.  I strongly endorse his professionalism and expertise.

The tree was planted perfectly and detailed care instructions were provided.

Crew removed tree to about 6" stump. Very neat job. Yard was left clean with complete removal of wood. Patio area free of sawdust, twigs,etc.

I had several trees that needed trimming or removing, including one in close proximity to the house so a crane was needed for the trimming job. They came by and provided a quote promptly and was able to accommodate my request to schedule the job within less than a week.   Several of the smaller trees had grown through a fence which I expected would be destroyed in the process of removing them but Mike's team was able to carry out the removal task while preserving most of the fence.  The work was complete in timely fashion and they did a great job of clearing all debris. 

We had a great experience with Foti tree. Joe worked with us to understand what needed to be done with all of the trees on our property. The large Norway maple was ~125 years old and we were really reluctant to cut it down. Joe understood our concerns and recommended an specialized arborist to give us a detailed prognosis for the tree. The team provided the services over 4 separate visits and were very efficient and courteous. We couldn't be happier with the results.

He is the best in the area. He was prompt and knew what he was talking about. His knowledge of trees stood out. I would use him again. He was expensive.

I have used them in the past. They are excellent. They are incredibly knowledgeable about trees. They took down three trees and they planted seven.

I called them to diagnose and old and beauitful sugar maple in my yard. They were able to diagnose the problem, perscribe treatment and put me on an annual plan. The tree bounced back to health and they are very proactive in contacting me to schedule continued care.  Recently I had a general tree question for them and they were very patient and helpful on the phone, helping diagnose something for my own treatment.

Excellent work from people who know their trees and shrubs.

Since he began spraying, our trees have been clearly more healthy that other in the neighborhood. I am impressed at how successful the treatment is.

Came and performed the work professionally and cleaned up all debris. Were courteous and respectful to homeowner and were happy to answer any questions as they work proceeded.

THE CLEAN UP WORK AND TREE WORK TOOK TWO DAYS.  ALL THE SLASH WAS CHIPPED AND THE GROUNDS WERE CLEANED OF LOOSE DEBRIS.CONSIDERING THAT OUR YARDS LOOKED LIKE A WAR ZONE AFTER THE STORM, THE WORK WAS WELL DONE.

Came to my house as scheduled and spent the time to understand what I was looking for.  Walked around the property with me and diagnosed issues and problems with trees.  Sent a quote right away.  Performed the services on 3 different occasions when I wasn't home and left a note on my door explaining the services performed.  Seamless.

I called for an estimate on trimming a few trees that were interfering with the driveway and some overgrowth. Within 24 hours and estimate was left including a suggestion for pruning another tree for health of the tree. The estimate was reasonable and the work completed within a week. Enough was trimmed to open up the space; certainly not overly aggressive.

They did a good job. They came and gave me an estimate and I called and they were booked up because of a storm. It was a couple of months before they got back to me. Initially, they got to me promptly, but didn't do the work until a couple of months later. I knew they were backed up so they just showed up when they started my job.

They brought the tree, balled and burlapped, dug out hole for it, and planted it.  Very thorough, careful work.  Made sure the the "face" was properly oriented.  Made sure that the trunk was perfectly vertical.  Neat and careful work.  I was very pleased with the result.
