They are in Lexington. They are pretty well known. They come regularly and fill the oil tank. We have never had a problem. We have been using them for six years.

I use Arlex Oil to deliver my heating oil because the woman I bought the house from used them.  They've done a good job at delivering the oil on a regular basis, and working with me when I don't need it so regularly.  They've also inspected and cleaned my boiler a number of times and always do a good job at that.

They've been there for me for many years and I'll continue to be a customer with service like that!

We spent $2500 on that service because we needed to replace the hot water tank.  That service went very well overall.  They were very punctual and when we called with a problem they had somebody out the same day.  When they determined that there was a leak they were able to get a replacement tank and somebody to install it within just a few days.  The workman and dispatch man was intelligent, thoughtful, and competent people.  They tend to be a little bit pricey, but it is worth it.

I called them that morning, they were over that afternoon to review the situation, and they came by the next day to complete the job.

John from Arlex responded very quickly and was extremely flexible about arranging a time to access the equipment. This was service at its best. We've signed up with Arlex to provide our oil service now that we're in the house. I would certainly recommend them.

The budget plan is excellent. Arlex does not force you to accept a set price for the season. Instead they estimate your expected costs for the season and work out a payment to that will cover the expected costs. In January, they adjust the budget to match increases or decreases in the projected cost. Any excess balance left in your account at the end of the season is carried into the next season. They are responsive to phone calls and generally very friendly.

Went well. They were responsive and came out quickly. Unfortunately the part wasn't covered by our service plan. They had the part on the truck and everything was up and running in under 30 minutes.

Bob was very helpful: he explained how to use and maintain a steam boiler, which I'd never used before. He was very personable, talkative, and helpful. He also brought to our attention the fact that our 50-year-old oil tank was oozing from the underneath, and needed to be replaced. In his words, "I'm not trying to scare you, but I kind-of am," meaning he felt that he wasn't trying to scare us into unnecessary replacement, but he was trying to make us aware of what he considered to be a situation requiring urgent attention. Only you can judge what to make of that, but it made sense to me.

Arlex Oil has been great. They are timely and always responsive. The price varies on how much oil I get at that time, so I am not sure of the price I pay. They are excellent for me and I do know they are reasonable.

I am satisfied with their service. I did have some problems with the burner and the oil tank had a leak, but they did finally find them and fix the problems. They do respond quickly to my calls and make sure everything is working properly.

I like this company. They're straightforward and seem very honest. They have two types of oil contracts (a locked in price of $2.84 per gallon this year), or a fluctuating price which depends on the oil market. They deliver in a timely but not excessive way.
