Troy was excellent. Every time I reached out with a question or idea, he returned my call asap (usually within a few hours). He understood that I had to stick within a budget and went out of his way to find ways to make it happen. I decided to do much of the cosmetic work myself and he was very good about communicating when each portion of the project would be complete so that I could plan when to install flooring, put up paneling, etc. His whole crew was also helpful with advice (and even loaner tools on one occasion). He, and all of the subcontractors and workers, were professional, punctual, and friendly. I was very nervous about taking on such a big project in the summer months with four kids running around, but everyone was patient and kind with the million questions the kids asked and each day, every thing was cleaned up and left safely stored. The work itself has held up through its first winter. Everything still looks pristine, and it's definitely not raining inside the porch anymore. After years of sagging, nothing on that porch was square, but Troy and his team went above and beyond to make it work. Of course, nothing and no one is perfect, and there were some delays with materials, but Troy was always upfront about any delays, responded to my concerns, and got things back on track, I would happily hire this company again.

Tree fell on garage roof - Excellent repair done to roof & rafters. Kitchen remodeling: cabinets painted white with crown molding added, old counter tops removed & replaced with quartz, living room & bathroom ceilings painted -- first class workmanship for all projects done. The job went great. We were delivered a detailed professional contract at a competitive price. Our start date was jammed close to the holidays, but Troy was able to fit us into the schedule. All of the sub-contractors were courteous, professional and excellent craftsman. We had a few minor scheduling/timing issues, but Troy handled them all to satisfaction. We love the room!

This group of workers not only did some of the crappiest work I have ever seen, but the constant lying and run around BS that was given to us by Troy himself was the thing that put us over the edge. He never showed for several meetings. Never communicated to any of the outside members of the project like any good contractor would do. Members of his crew not only did not finish there work but actually went as far as damaging several parts of our home. In the end we had to fire Troy for fear of further damage and for his lack of Professional services. I would never recommend this group of sorry workers to anyone.

Troy and his workers were excellent to do business with . From the carpenters to the electrician and plumber they all were very professional and got back to me promptly when I had any kind of question. The quality of work was excellent also. Troy is a very good contractor to work with, you should not have any issues with any of the work his crew does and if something does come up Troy will make sure it is corrected immediately.

Work done well. Good communication throughout the process. Finished quickly and didn't let the job drag out.

Troy was great to work with.  He came out to the house as scheduled.  He listened to the ideas that we were trying to accomplish and offered suggestions that we loved and decided to go with.  Troy came back with a competitive quote very quickly and we scheduled the work.  The work started and finished as scheduled with no mishaps.  Troy himself did not complete the work quoted, but he was very involved with the process and kept tabs on the progress and anything that needed to be finished.  All of Troy's associates were professional and courteous.  The work came out better than expected.  We definitely plan on using Troy again in the future when we remodel our upstairs.

Troy was very responsive, and flexible in working with our schedules.  He listened carefully to what I was hoping for as a result, and came up with a simple and elegant solution where he could replace the window trim but didn't require any cutting through to the interior of the house (I didn't want to have to do work as well on the inside wall, which is in my bedroom).  It was really a brilliant way to approach it, and I was already impressed before he'd even done any work.  He also proposed replacing the ratty clapboards on that dormer on either side of the window while they were there - which I hadn't expected but did appreciate - and he still gave me a price which I thought was extremely fair.
Then his two guys came over right on schedule, carefully draped the job so as not to damage my flowerbeds below, and worked efficiently and neatly.  They were both extremely friendly and didn't seem to mind my frequent questions and observations (if they did, they never showed it! :) ).  When they did the demo work on the first day, pulling off the old trim and clapboards, we noticed that the owners who had added that dormer had used old newspapers between the underlayment and the clapboards.  I found this very interesting, as the date on these sheets from the local paper was March 15, 1940, which told me when the second floor had been added (I'd always wondered).  The guys very kindly brought down to me a few big sheets of what they'd removed, which I'm keeping as a kind of souvenir.  I thought that was a nice touch and a great indication of how kind and professional they were.
The dormer now looks a thousand times better, and as I have other trim repair that needs to be done in various parts of the exterior before its much-needed paint job, I most certainly will call Troy again to do that work as well.

The price includes all new appliances, cabinets to the ceiling, quartz counters, glass tile back splash, crown molding, custom hutch, dry bar, new hard wood floors through out the first floor, new lighting in the ceiling, task lighting under cabinets as well as glass front cabinets with lights inside

Troy was always very prompt in getting back to us!  He took time to explain problem areas and was interested in giving us a quality product. He was very pro-active in making sure we were happy customers and checked all work once done.  His men were personable and cleaned up each day!  All in all, we were well pleased with the job and would call on Troy again for future projects.

From the start Troy was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt with contact and showed up when he said he was going to. He got my estimate when he said he would and he added a drawing of how the finished project would look. Hi estimate was also slightly lower than the others I received but I would have chosen him if it was a bit more than the others because I instantly knew that he was a good person and would do the job right.
Troy's project supervisor, Chuck was on the job everyday working with the team and made 100% sure that everything was done to exceed our expectations. He checked in with us frequently and explained what he thought was the best way to do things but left the decision up to us, which was great. The crew was very polite and nice and you could tell they took great pride in their work and in working for this company.
They put so many thoughtful details into everything they did at our home and I can't say enough nice things about how wonderful our yard looks with this new deck.
I would hire them again in an instant for any work around our home and I know that they will be the first place I contact when we have more things to do.

Where do I begin? Troy Hebert and all his workers were unbelievable. They were so professional and so easy to work with. they did everything was asked of them and more! All of Troy's workers were on time clean and professional they picked up all the materials they the used to make sure that everything was the way we wanted it before they finish the job! Troy work with us on the price on the material and labor because we thought we were paying too much he made some concessions so that we would be happy with the final product and the price. He also gave us great references for granite countertops and tile work for the kitchen.

Troy and his team overall were great. We are thrilled with the quality of the final product. Troy quickly corrected any issues that we saw and was very clear about costs and additions that we made to the project. His estimate was almost perfect and we came in just under 10% of the original estimate, with most of the additional cost additions that we decided on. There were a few instances where the team did not show up as planned or missed on some logistics (e.g. gave us the wrong time for the inspection) but overall this was a small issue. This is the only reason I gave them a B for punctuality. I'd use Troy again.

It was perfect and excellent. They were very efficient, on time and they take the project on time. I can't say enough good things about them but I know they're very professional. They just did an unbelievable job.

I received a quote within a week and the work was scheduled for 3 weeks later. The repair started as scheduled and took two days. The greenhouse frame was lifted, the old sill removed, the new sill was anchored into the concrete foundation and the frame was reattached to it. No surprises of any kind. I am satisfied with the work.

Troy was prompt to respond to my request for a quote and spent the time to go through the design and product options and was interested in making sure he had all the details right.  The quote was inline with others I had received and provided a reasonable start date, which he met!

Along with his own team, several subs/trades were used to complete the work, all of whom worked neatly and took pride in their work.  As with any project, some items came up that needed attention.  In every case they were dealt with without question or delay.

The final result is something I am very happy with, can't wait for summer to enjoy it.

Troy and his crew were all exceptional. With the amount of people involved and the hiccups that can sometimes come with a major renovation, both Troy and his on site manager, Chuck, were always accessible and came on site to resolve any issues.. They were conscientious of our budget and our timeline and always checked with us before altering or doing anything. Bottom line, it all comes down to communication. The workmanship was beautiful and we are very pleased with the outcome. We did have some issues with the supplier of the cabinets, plumbing and fixtures and would not go through them again. Troy supported us through that challenge to rectify those issues and when we move on to our next project with him, he has recommended another supplier that we will interview.

I called Troy on a Thursday. He got back to me right away. He asked if he could look at the job that day because his electrician was going on vacation the next day and he did not want to keep me waiting for a quote. Troy, his plumber and electrician were all there to look at the job within three hours! I received the quote a couple of days later. He was in line with my other quotes, so I checked out his references. He was highly recommend by all, so I decided to go with him. I must say, that I am very pleased that I did. My kitchen and bath are beautiful and the quality of work is outstanding. Mike, the finish carpenter is a perfectionist at everything he does. The granite people were amazed at how level and true everything was and remarked that he rarely finds it like that and it made his job much easier. The job was on time and on budget. Troy even did a couple of extras that were not on the quote at no charge. How often do you find that! In short, if you are looking for a good, honest contractor, with workers who care about the quality of their work, and are proud of it, look no further. I will definitely hire Troy Hebert Building & Remodeling in the future.
