Lori was fabulous...she came everyday played with my animals. Fed them, gave them fresh water, and changed litter boxes. Lori sent me pics and updates every day. My first time hiring anyone through Angies list and I couldn't be more pleased with the services .y animals received from Lori. My cat who doesn't like anyone was giving her kisses. She's amazing!!! I definitely recommend her.

Lori came by ahead of time to meet my babies and take copious notes on their likes and dislikes. While I was gone she visited promptly every day and sent me texts and photos of my girls. She also put out my trash & recycling and the appointed day. I have already arranged for them to kittysit next year when I go on a longer (10 day) vacation

The business owner is so unprofessional. She cant even pick up the phone if she has an issue at your house. I had to rearrange care for our animals because of how rude she was to us while we were on vacation. If you are looking for someone to pass judgement on you then this is a good place to hire. If you want your animals taken care of in your home there are better companies in the local area that will treat your animals well. They didn't even walk our dogs. Just let them outside fed and left. She also sent someone to our house who just had surgery to her hands. To take care of our 50 and 85 lb dogs. Unsafe owner who blames customers for their over scheduling and staffing issues.

"In response to Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s review, as the business owner, I'd like to take the opportunity to defend my "Super Service Award" rated business. 4-Paws and More have been caring for the [Member Name Removed]'s pets since July 1, 2016. We have been very professional, even under not so pleasant conditions. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] complains that we didn't pick up the phone and call her when there was an issue at her house, but she failed to mention that she didn't respond to our text messages for almost 2 1/2 hours regarding her missing dog. We've always communicated via text messages with the [Member Name Removed]'s, which also provides us with proof of the conversation. Upon arrival on April 12th, to the pet sitters surprise, the interior of the house was being painted. There were ladders laying on the walkway, making it difficult to walk to the front door. Upon entering the house, it was in total disarray & hazardous to even walk. There was painting equipment, electrical cords and drop clothes everywhere, making it difficult to even walk, let alone care for their pets. I told her if we had known the house would be like this, we wouldn't have taken the job, since we're responsible for their pets & home! The poor cat even had paint on her and was hissing at everything. Then it was discovered that one dog was missing. After a complete check of the 1st and 2nd floor, the dog was still unaccounted for. At this point a text message was sent to Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s phone. Oddly enough, approx. 1 hour earlier, Mr. [Member Name Removed] sent a text asking how the dogs were on our arrival. This was an hour before our scheduled visit (leading us to believe they might have known there was a dog missing). After a continual search of the house, the dog was found locked in the basement. Next it was feeding time, and when the pet sitter went to the interior garage door (food is stored there and dogs are fed there), it was found without a door knob, due to the door being painted. So after about 15 mins the door was finally opened and the dogs could be fed. The [Member Name Removed]'s had not been good at keeping us informed of any changes in their pets care during our time as their pet sitters. The female dog was diagnosed as diabetic, and they didn't tell us nor did the tell us she was taking oral medication. I had to ask them about her health & medication prior to our last visit, at which time Mr. [Member Name Removed] advised me that we would have to stick a pill down his dogs throat and hold her mouth shut! He was advised that he would have to find an alternate method for giving the medication, if he wanted us to do it, as this is an unsafe method for pet sitters to perform. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] made further arrangements for her dogs care on her own doing. She asked us to continue care through the next morning, which we did, we would NEVER leave their pets not cared for since we are professional and caring pet sitters. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] also comments on our pet sitting skills, which couldn't be further from the truth. Since she was NOT present on the Meet & Greet, she was unaware that her husband never asked us to walk their dogs, since they have an invisible fence. We provided excellent care to their pets, from feeding & caring for the dogs, picking up their poop (and some extra), feeding the fish, changing the dogs water on every visit, feeding their VERY mean cat, bringing in mail & packages, and putting the trash curbside on pick up day. It's unfortunate that Mrs. [Member Name Removed] felt she needed to leave such a negative review, after allowing us to care for their pets over the last 9 months."

FABULOUS! Lori and Renee were recommended to us a couple of years ago by a friend. I am so happy we found them. We couldn't have found anyone more capable and trustworthy to take care of our beloved pets. During the summer last year, one of our Maltese, Theo, passed away. Lori was there when it happened. My only regret is that I was not there, but she took charge and met me at local veterinarian's office with him. During that time, my mom was at my house recuperating from surgery. She kept herself calm, and my mom, and called me and then I left work to meet her at the vet's. There are no words to convey what I (and my husband) feel for these two wonderful ladies. I am ever grateful for their compassion and kindness. If you are looking for caretakers for your pets while you are away..this is the sitting service you need!! There is no price on piece of mind!! Love them..EXCELLENT!

Renee and Lori were fabulous. They texted us while we were on the road to say they were on their way, while they were feeding and scooping, and after they left to report back about our fur-kids. They did everything we requested, and I left a detailed note that they followed to the letter. These ladies are the real deal. They care, they are animal people. If the sun rises and sets on your animal companions, you need to hire them. Period.

I would highly recommend using 4 Paws and more anytime you need someone to take care of your pets when you are away. Lori and Rene were unbelievable!! They were awesome. They feed our dogs and made sure they had clean water and played with them. They gave them thier special treats too. They came 2 times a day and every visit we received an update as to how they were doing. They even sent pictures of my dogs too. When they thought two of our dogs were not eating they even sat and hand fed them. They also took care of my father's cats. Even cleaned up when one made a mess outside of the kitty litter. They took in our mail and took out our trash. A long with taking in the plants as it started to get cold. We definitely plan on using them again in the future!! They made our vacation that much more relaxing. And I will definitely be telling all my friends about how wonderful they are. Thanks again you wonderful ladies!!!

Our experiences with the ladies of 4 Paws and More have been beyond excellent! They offer the highest quality pet services that my wife and I have ever experienced. We have used them for walking our 2 Boykin Spaniels when I was recovering from surgery and we've used them for overnight sitting with our dogs at our home while we were away. We know our dogs are well cared for by seeing how happy they are to see Lori and Renee when they arrive! We will continue to use their services and recommend them to anyone looking for high quality pet sitting.

It was expensive (and we paid a premium b/c we lived pretty far away from them), but it was very reassuring to have them because they were great communicators, sending us almost daily updates (and a few pix) about how the kitties were doing. They let us know immediately when we lost power in a storm, found out some necessary information to help us make a decision about what to do, and I'm sure would have cleaned out the fridge if it had been necessary.
Before we hired them, Lori and Renee came over to meet the kitties, introduce themselves, describe their services, etc. They were totally friendly and open, articulate, and very professional. They took notes on everything we shared about the two cats, which included some complicated information about personality, indoor/outdoor needs, and medication. They were clearly interested in taking excellent care of the cats and helping them feel as happy as possible in our absence, and they met every expectation we had, and then some.

It went fabulously. These ladies are so genuinely animal people, they just convey a quiet gentle confidence, that is is so comforting to know you've "furr kids" are in good hands. When we initially met them, we instantly hit it off. They stayed for 2 hours and we covered every conceivable topic, filled out their questionnaire, did a tour of the house, they met our "boys", they gave them treats. Just a lovely pair of women who clearly love what they're doing!

THESE GALS ARE GREAT!!!! THEY NOT ONLY DID THE BASICS BUT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. THE DOGS ARE ON SPECIAL DIETS WHICH WAS CRUCIAL TO THEIR CARE. THEY NOT ONLY FEED THEM BUT PLAYED WITH THEM AND SPENT TIME WITH THEM. ONE OF THE DOGS IS SHY AROUND NEW PEOPLE AND THEY SENT PICS OF HER LICKING THEIR FACE!!! THAT'S HER GREAT RECOMMENDATION!!! IT IS SUCH A RELIEF TO HAVE THE DOGS CARED FOR IN THEIR HOME AND NOT KENNELED WITH OTHER DOGS. YOU DON'T KNOW WHETHER THEY ARE GETTING PROPER CARE OR ATTENTION. WITH THESE LADIES YOU KNOW THEY ARE! THEY CHARGE BY THE NUMBER OF VISITS AND COMPARED TO KENNELS THEY ARE BY FAR THE BEST VALUE....AND THE DOGS LOVE THEM. WE "ALL" HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

We love Lori and Renee and so do our animals! They are so incredibly responsive and helpful, and are so sweet and loving to our pets. They truly seem to enjoy seeing the dogs and have rescued us over and over when we've needed them. Once when we were away and our kitty got sick, they got her quickly to the vet and facilitated all her care until we returned. They're an invaluable resource and lovely, caring people. I recommend them fully and without hesitation.

Excellent! These ladies are caring and knowledgeable. They have an excellent system to insure safety of client information and I trust them totally. They even gave me a tip about a new method to dose my cat who needs medication, something I truly appreciate and not even the Vet had suggested. I could tell from how my cats acted when I got home that they had been very well taken care of, all their needs addressed, and the areas around the food and litter box were very clean and neat. Lori and Rene take that extra step to make sure their clients get quality and expert service.

Lori and Renee are the best. I never wanted to leave away on vacation in the past for feeling guilty about leaving the dog. Lori and Renee have stayed at my house a few times taking caring of the dog with loving care, as well as, the house. They send pics during the stay and now Max gets very excited to see his aunties. I can go on vacation knowing that everything is taken care of. I highly recommend them and are so thankful they are so caring and trustworthy.

I'd like to take a moment and commend Lori and Renee on the excellent care they continuously give to my year old Basset Hound. From the moment I called them about a year ago, they have provided prompt, reliable and nurturing attention to Willow, who has thrived in their care from a rambunctious puppy to a spunky young dog. Calling 4-Paws was the best decision I made regarding the care of my dog while I am away at work. I'm a new cat owner with a busy travel schedule. Although cats are by nature fairly self-sufficient, I was looking for a service that would alleviate my guilt about leaving a new pet alone for several days while I was on business. These people are great -- and they really connected with my big Maine C*** sweetheart. She was regularly watered, fed, brushed, played with (they even tracked down her favorite toy which was lodged behind a wardrobe!) They leave enough time in the schedule to actually spend some quality time with the pet. My cat is such a social creature that she needs some human contact -- more than a rush-in and rush-out, and they provide it. I look forward to the text messages with cute pictures which accompany every visit. I can highly recommend this service.

It's hard to trust someone with your entire home and precious pets. Lori and Renee put us at ease right away and we had an excellent experience! They checked in on our house and pets while we were gone for a week and offered to do everything from watering the flowers to taking our trash out and switching lights on and off. They were responsive and professional. For our initial meet and greet meeting, they spent over an hour with us and asked many questions about each of our pets. We were impressed with their organization and thorough paperwork.
When we left, it turns out that they key we gave them did not work. They were calm and understanding about the situation and helped resolve the issue. They were also flexible when we needed their help with some water that had seeped into our basement. They sent detailed text message updates after every visit and even included some pictures. They were very exact about doing everything we asked and set our house alarm after each visit without any issues.
We can't say enough good things about them and highly recommend them. We definitely plan to use their services again.
